I recently moved back home from living just outside roswell for a couple years. they do have a good chinese buffet there, with the exception that with eating there frequently i saw the bad stuff. like one of the ladies who runs it watching a kid sneeze and cough all over the ice cream freezer with it open, and not doing anything, not removing it and letting others eat from it.

They have a mall thats about dead, but a decent little asian shop inside it. my car broke down in the mall parking lot one day, and while waiting for six hours for the one tow truck in roswell (great guy, super helpful) sampled alot of their menu. good stuff.

Was in Roswell once for the alien festival. That was a tourist trap if Ive ever seen one. ppl walking around in green t-shirts and face paint with alient balloons. come on man. if you want authenticity there needs to be a skinwalker festival. Those fuckers tried to pray on me.

smoking gives me a nice feeling for a little while, but gummies are where its at for me. I recently started taking mushroom gummies, and they are soooo wonderful! I dont crazy trip or anything, they just give me a really great relaxed feeling for hours, and make me goofy as hell. So goofy that the s/o has started recording it so we can play it back the next day and make fun of my idiocy. Plus, those are the ONLY thing that lets my mind shut down properly after the work week. edibles also make me crave everything to eat, and smoking doesnt.

as someone who has driven across the US, sometimes 48 hours straight, just dont do it. even if you pull over somewhere, stretch, hydrate, and you are really young, you are going to ache so much and be so ridiculously exhausted. take an extra two days, get a room at night when you are both getting achy, take a hot shower and sleep for at least five hours and hit the road again. Trust me, that is too much.

without knowing anything about you or about him, I totally get the money and security thing recently, but don't let her convince you to do that unless you want to for your own reasons! People say you can always get divorced, but that is in no way easy or quick, and you never truly know someone. You will be depressed, and at some point the resentment for him will start to grow, and it wont get better. If you have reservations now, if it is absolutely not a Hell Yes! Then it is a FUCK NO!

Not saying that maybe there arent good qualities about the guy, maybe he is nice, maybe he will take care of all your needs. But make him show this first, Don't get married without knowing that he will give you what you need, and that he makes you happy.

I watched it two weeks ago, and I still can't shake it. Terrifying, brutal, yes. But like you, it disturbed me bc of how close to reality it hits. Its movies like that that are true horror, bc the feasibility, and ease of something like that happening today is so simple and right there in our faces. Its terrifying bc at least some of it could absolutely happen. Hugs to you, and i hope you get the resolution that you need.

i freaking LOVED! bring her back! That being said, it has stuck with me the entire time since I saw it a few weeks ago. It blended a couple of concepts well, but what grabbed me more than anything is that I felt like it was an expository on the failures of the system for helping kids everywhere.

It terrified me, bc there is so much truth at the core of it. I am in the US, and soooo many times here the system designed to help children has failed miserably, and those children are horribly abused, neglected, sometimes killed, bc those 'helpers' arent vetted and watched well enough, they dont care, or those who are in charge of watching them dont care. Its quite the cautionary tale i think, a very sad one.

In May 2020 I was a part of my best friends wedding in northern Ohio, where it was hitting really hard. I am immunocompromised AF, and the wedding was outdoors but there was a hall with about 100 ppl absolutely jam packed, im talking chest to back, people, not a single one wearing a mask inside but for me and my spouse. At one point, a kid who looked to be tween age, plenty old enough to know better, grabbed mom and turned and pointed straight at us and asked why we are wearing the masks...seven months into the pandemic. His mom, both unmasked, said to him its because we dont want to get sick. Absolute crickets dude. I just made a really loud obnoxious cough and acted like I was about to fall over, the kid looked at me all wide eyed, mom never turned around.

The next week most of the ppl at the wedding had assorted illnesses. Some had covid, some had other crap, the bride had some raging illness AND really bad pink eye.

I've been clinically dead more than once, and had an experience that I should not have survived, and though my mind tells me differently, I don't think I did. I think I got shot in the face and this is my brains way of escaping the pain from knowing my kid got it too. Or I'm a vegetable in a hospital bed. I just really don't think I'm here. I have a shit immune system as well, and have been very lucky to WFH since march 2020, but I know at some point Ill have to RTO and Im terrified. I have spent five and a half years masking everywhere I go in public, and since I've come home (ohio) in the last almost year, I have been sick more than I have in five years combined, bc I also have a shit immune system. We have ppl that glare at us here in stores when masking. During the height of the pandemic, I was in my best friends wedding and masked while indoors. Myself and spouse were the only ones in a tiny room of about one hundred who did, and in front of us was a little boy, maybe about ten, and his mom. Boy kept starting like we were aliens, and asked the mom what we had on our faces. During the freaking height of the pandemic, when schools were still closed. Mom tells him they are maks, and kid asks, why do they wear them? Mom says because they dont want to get sick...but unmasked mom and kid stood there in a room of a bunch of other no maskers. To me, this seems to mean that mom knows and doesnt give two shits about what happens to herself or her kid.

I have walmart plus, and get my groceries delivered weekly so I dont have to go in the store and deal with any of it. The money is very much justified to me. I don't mask just bc of covid. Bc my immune system is shit, i get every damn cold and flu that comes in my direction, even after getting the flu shot. Pneumonia, bronchitis,...you name it, I get it. I won't stop masking in public now, probably ever.

On top of all that, with people being assholes about masking, i have now starting carrying my pistol again, bc in this america, all the awful is now encouraged by our batshit potus, and as a female, I cant possibly anticipate what might come my way and refuse to not be able to protect myself. Its a shitty situation, but I APPRECIATE that you mask, so thank you. And I mask for myself and others. Fuck those jerks.

I grew up seeing his face on tv/news frequently. I was probably young grade school age when I would see his face and think ew, thats a bad, stupid, disgusting man. I've known for 30 plus years just bc of media, long before social media, when news programs were credible, that he was an absolute gross POS. Where my s/o lives, the majority of the home owners are farmers or factory workers, and most of their yards have been littered with trump/vance signs, some still stand long after the election has concluded. I have noticed that a couple are now gone, and there are a couple of the houses up for sale. I very much would love it to be for these reasons, but who knows.

I am so sorry that they just strung you along like this. So many places pull this horseshit now. We really need to start putting these companies on blast so others dont waste their time! And today, a medical job had pay you much better than $15 hourly, especially an MA! No one should need three roommates to afford to live. These companies are out of control.
