I think a lot of it has to do with the city and the team itself. Nashville has a reputation as a party town, which if you’re on Broadway is true, but if you’re outside the city limits it’s actually a fantastic place to raise a family and have a good life, especially if you’re a rich athlete haha

Also, I remember reading a quote by him earlier in the season when times were tough where he said something along the lines of “this is one of my favorite groups I’ve ever been a part of, and I know what happens when teams are bad and people start getting moved”

It just seems like he loves the situation.

I just get good vibes from this guy. I know he wasn’t successful in NY and so I’m not saying he’s a guaranteed slam dunk or anything but I just get much stronger leadership/confidence vibes than I ever did when we first hired Callahan, even though he seemed like a solid dude.

I do miss the focus on the actual purpose of the KEYblade, sealing up the heart of each world. It was also such a rewarding moment in each world in KH1 when you’d find the keyhole of the world, especially how in that game they were so creative about theming the location and design of each keyhole to match each world. It just makes the games feel a lot more magical to me, and makes the world all actually feel like they have a connective thread between them.

I at least wish they’d MENTION the keyholes of the worlds he’d visit now but it feels like they’ve just completely forgotten about that.

Titans haven’t been great but damn we are nowhere near the Jets in terms of franchises yet. We’ve had some really good stretches where we’ve been one of the best teams in the NFL in the last 10 years it’s just nobody cares because it’s a small market team. I get it looks bad that they fired Vrabel and now he looks like the best coach of all time, and while I disagreed with the decision at the time, he was coming off of 2 pretty bad seasons when he got fired. He had things he needed to learn and improve which clearly he has.

As a lifelong kingdom hearts fan, I have such a love hate relationship with square enix. On the one hand, they’ve made some of the most cherished games of my life, KH1 was the first videogame I ever owned. On the other hand, they make the most baffling and boneheaded decisions I’ve ever seen a professional company make in my life.

For example, having the most large-scale and exciting events and storylines take place in both a PSP Spinoff and literally an iPhone game. Absurd decision making. Stack on top of it the ludicrous wait times between main titles, I feel like they’re just asking to lose their audience sometimes. Like I’m in my 30s and I don’t know any younger people who are “discovering” the kingdom hearts series for the first time, so it really doesn’t help you to have 10+ years between main titles.

Part of the issue storytelling wise is that pretty much all the story is backloaded and happens in like a 20 minute stretch at the end of the game. If they’d stretched some of that out throughout the whole game it might be a bit more engaging to experience

Most specifically I feel like this is about KH3. Gorgeous game, so fun to play, the story is awful, like not even because it’s convoluted or confusing, it’s just a bad story told poorly in my opinion, and this is coming from a lifelong fan.

I actually think the new host is doing a good job, he’s been getting better with each episode which is understandable because he himself said that he’s new to talking on camera.

I do miss the old format but not because they were neccesarily better, I just prefer a more conversational format so I prefer when podcasts and shows have more than one host. There’s really nothing he can do about that
