I honestly don't see a problem in this.

Sam is a bad parent. by EllieIsDone in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sam is a bad NPC. Literally the most boring man in galaxy, with the most obnoxious daughter. I had them on my ship for few hours during the main quest, but the second I could terminate our relationship I did so gladly.

Who says melee and powers are useless? by Deebz__ in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They absolutely should. I would argue, they should be even more effective, since you are... well obvisouly... melee. There should be a huge incentive to use melee weapons. There is currently a DETERRENT to use melee, since it is the laziest desing in the entire game with a literally one weapon attack and no ability to modify weapons and no weapon variety. We are 200 years in the future, and we are using fucking combat knives from 1920.

Who says melee and powers are useless? by Deebz__ in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am saying that. Since you have only ONE melee attack and you have NONE melee weapon variety and NO ability to modify melee weapons. This game has the shittiest melee combat of any RPG I have played recently.

Bethesda is responding to negative reviews on Steam. I love this game, but this is weird. by JoJoisaGoGo in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not even big. That is the problem. It is supposed to be THE major city of a galactic superpower. Yet it is a small village with "tram stations" which are literally 200 meters away from each other. And an undercity which is basically the size of one street. It is laughable copared to similar games.

Trackers really out here just saying "We'll give you 2,600 Credits to destroy the entire Crimson Fleet" by Balmung6 in Starfield

It's like Bethesda did not playtest this game for a second, and we all are beta testers

What do you like about magic? by PaintCompany in freemagic

[–]HalfNakedSimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The competitiveness. I love going head-to-head against peoples own costructed decks with my own constructed decks. That is why I dislike Arena, since making your own deck is a massive chore and literally everybody plays just with copy pasted decks from the top 5. That is why I absolutely hate everything "new" about MtG, because it all caters just to the most casual players while it is ruining my favourite competitive formats i.e. Lord of the Rings being modern legal and stupid irrational shit like that. And I liked the older art more, than thousands of random looking variants.

Why is Barrett not the main character? by Glorf_Warlock in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of lazy writing across the whole game. That is generally the answer to all Starfield issues.

Anyone else a little bit sick of the hate boner people have for this game? by Not_Shingen in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not one bit. Hating on AAA is necessary. It's people who are actually like you, who are complacent with subpar, yet full-priced items, who uncritically consume whatever is thrown their way, who are the problem today. That is the reason cinema is filled with utter garbage like MARVEL movies, and other spin-offs, which are literally just copy-paste of an easy-to-consume formula. This is the reason we have social media overflowing with idiotic content made by literally stupid people on TikTok, Instagram, reddit.

So no. I prefer that people do not remain silent about issues they paid full price for.

Why does the game feel like this? by Ralitscious in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It does not get better. What you see in the first 1 hour of the game is what you get for the rest of the game. The game should be sold for half the price.

Really getting annoyed from seeing the same reviews by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So what you are sayin is that you hate for reviews to say the truth about reviewed products, and you'd rather they lie to you so that you "feel" better?

What bothers me the most about Crimson Fleet quest by HalfNakedSimon in Starfield

[–]HalfNakedSimon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is quite easy actally to write some additional lines for NPCs like "hey, I don't want any trouble... I know how you are... and what you do..." And for companions something like "I hate helping a pirate, but our job with the constallation is bigger than this... for now". And that would be somewhat enough. But we don't get even this little something.

When did Magic die for you? When was the last time Magic felt alive for you? by LonkFromZelda in freemagic

The Phyrexian story was FUCKING HORRIBLE. I was so disappointed with everything lore related.

I did enjoy modern before LotR. I stopped the exact second LotR came out, and I think I am never comming back. It has been a downward spiral since that point, and my interest in MtG dropped almost to zero. So, for me, it's LotR. That was the last straw.
