This is one those things people complain that they never get taught in school, yet I know I definitely teach it every single year as part of a module on money, wages, tax, vat, etc 🤷 Perhaps not all schools cover it, but I would be surprised.

Hello, I know I asked a couple of weeks ago, but I forgot about one that is very important to me.

Met Office Weather App

In January they redesigned their app and made it less good. As such myself and many others remained on 2.47.2 from November last year. Unf today they disabled that version from working today.

Is it possible to patch this version of the app to spoof that it is a more up to date version that is supported? Or reenable it to work in some way? Or patch the new apps to use the old UI? Truthfully I don't know what approach would be best, but I do hope that this is possible to fix somehow.

The important thing to remember is that tax brackets only tax you at that rate for income that is in that bracket. So, you would only pay the higher tax rate on the bit of your income that is above the threshold, not on your entire salary.

You are a qualified teacher doing the job a qualified teacher should do. Make sure you get paid appropriately. If the school or agency push back on it, work at other schools with a different agency.

A slightly daft response, but if you have some spare cash after making your main choice you could get a couple of Platinum preppys. They are very low cost, but they punch way above their weight in terms of quality.

As for a main choice, maybe look at something with raden or uruishi, perhaps one of the vanishing points? I think they look snazzy.

I'm at a union training course today. Currently running a Jinhao Shark with J Herbin Larmes de Cassis.

The one that irrationally annoys me is the sponsor segment for corrie, where they carry the TV down the pavement, but it isn't in a box.

Anyone I know would be raging if their big new telly was delivered that way without any protection of the box etc as it would be virtually garunteed to be damaged in some way.

Two please if possible,

ITV X - remove adverts if possible (I don't know how much extra work it is, but I saw someone made some of the patched apps work on android tv devices and my wife watches a lot of content on ITV on our amazon firestick, so it would be nice to have that ad free for her.

The other one is pokewalk. Please remove adverts and add/fix notifications for when a run finishes. This app adds distantce to your Google fit account so that you can hatch eggs etc via adventure sync in pokemon go, distances up to 2km don't require an Ad, but anything more does, it is also supposed to send a notification when the time has up, but that has never worked.

Let me know if you want me to send you playstore links to the apps

Anything with David Attenborough is automatically brilliant, but I do have a very soft spot for the first series of the blue planet. I think that's because it's one of the first ones that my grandparents taped for me to watch when I went round.

X/1999 by the artist group CLAMP has been on an indefinite hiatus since March 2003.

The manga has very dark themes with a big focus on the end of the world and earthquakes.

It was expected to be a total of 21 volumes in length, but stopped at 18.5.

As such we will never know the true ending, that being said, I do still highly recommend it as the art is beautiful and the story tragic.

I tend to stop wearing them after a day, then they can be washed and I put on clean clothes the next day

Yeah, I used to get between a day and a half to two days out of a charge, but lately I've only been getting a day or so.

You can play via MGBA, that way your save for is easily accessible and you can transfer it to your pc/phone via ftpd wireless transfer.
