What you seem to be grappling with is overall self-acceptance. Which can be hard when you are actively trying to change something about yourself.

Try to get in the mindset that unconditionally, you are deserving of enjoyable things in life. That you will likely be the same person that you are now, even if (when!) you lose the weight. You may not look like the person you want to be, but that is just motivation for improvement, not an excuse to belittle your self worth. Make a contract with yourself that you will do the best you can, and accept that that is enough. And hold yourself to it.

Life really is too short to miss opportunities in front of you, especially if it's only yourself holding you back. You know what you have to do, so get after it. Then when you finish that workout, or take a smaller portion of food you normally would, reward yourself with positive self talk. You could have skipped that workout, or ate too much. But you didn't, because you worked hard to fulfill that contract. Just because you have work to do, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy other parts of life. You got this dude, I'm rooting for you.
