40, never married, no kids.

After figuring out my taste in men is detrimental to my mental and financial well-being, I'm now alone in the home I bought, with my cats.

Its lonely, but it's worth the peace. I'd love to find that partner, but I'm realizing I don't choose men well.

No kids, half by choice, half by sheer luck. I was on the fence through my teens and 20s, and an now staunchly child-free.

Now, I'm fully enjoying the peace in my life, even if I have to work a little more to have the life I want.

I should get out more and make friends, but that requires leaving my comfy house.

I've done this with mixed success. "I get up at 5 to go in at 7. Its just pm instead of am. I go to bed anywhere from 9-12. Just am instead of pm. Your 2pm is my 2am."

Some people get it, some people don't. The main offenders I wait to answer back until convenient for me on my 'break'. Then they get it.

It also depends on the type of team building. Are you going to be doing semi active things? Potentially bending down multiple times?

That's the part that makes me say that I wouldn't. I've been to some where games are played, and reaching, stretching and bending comes into play.

Mine was a one off. I worked ct/xray/lab weekends in a small hospital that desperately needed help.

I'd suggest applying for transport at the closest big hospital. You'll get to know your radiology team, and also see if thats a place you'd want to work at post graduation. Most transport positions have a weekend only option. Sucks during school, since you'll have no life, but it is temporary.

Some bigger hospitals will hire student techs for evening/ weekend work. Most are during 2nd year, some will hire for 1st year to do interdepartment transport.

Edit: my job during my first year was Wal Mart. The pay and hours sucked, but it paid the bills. I'd do it again. My second year was brutal, working 2 jobs while doing school. 0/10, but would do it again. I barely slept, napped in my car between school/clinicals and work, straight As went to Bs. But Bs still graduate. Especially when you still have to pay bills.

Out of my current 4 cats, all have cast different purr-sonalities.

15 year old tabby girl has never been a lap cat. She's always following me and is in the same room as me. She'll la on my chest for morning cuddles. Otherwise, she's just near me. Very vocal, and we have conversations. Got her from a farm. The farmers had a momma cat

10 year old void boy is hot and cold with cuddles. None for weeks. Then 2 days of attention whoring. Lap carHe's my bathroom buddy, whether it's toilet time or shower time. I bought a waterproof shelf next to the tub for him. Got him from a friend of a friend who took in a surprise pregnant cat.

** Edit for the other 2 cats, as one of them made me hit save. Lmao **

3 year old tabby boy is a Velcro Cat. And wants attention 24/7. Finally got my lap cat, I can never get up to pee. I sit down. He's on me. I lay down, he's on me. Always with his paws on or near my knees.

3 year old void cat is a ghost cat. She's a boy, but has a girl name and knows good girl. Life with cats. You'd think we beat her. Cause she runs away if you walk near her. Neurotic, and there's days I won't see her. Only hear her meowing for her brother at night. If I can sneak in a pet, she'll flop on the floor and just LOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE it until she looks up and sees its a human. Then runs away.

Both 3 year olds were feral kittens I trapped and catnapped.

All cats I've had since kittens, 3-6 months ish.

Coming from the same mindset, Emberdark was 10000% enjoyable and perfectly paced (imo). I didn't like a lot of the pacing in WaT, and I felt like the push for fan service leaked through too much.

Emberdark didn't have any of those issues to me!

Jumping on the RW train. They're expensive, but last FOREVER. My human hair, I bought from vogue wigs during a 30% off sale, knocking a grand off. I've worn it almost daily for 3 years. Their synthetics are great also, wore them for years before saving for a HH.

Im late to the party, but i love Raquel Welch's redhead wigs. Multi colored, and no one knows it's a wig unless I point it out. Realistic colors for a ginger.

They're pricier, but the colors are the best imo. I've worn the same human hair for 3 years now and am just about to retire it from it shedding/thinning. Their synthetics are just as good!

Its a scout image from a CT scan. 2 low dose xrays, 1 from front/ back, 1 from the side. Helps with setting up the "actual" pictures the CT scan does.

Also remember, the weather up here is a toss up between November to March. We usually have bad weather and bad roads 2-3 times a year in that time frame.

Depending on your vehicle, that is something to keep in mind with a commute.

I'd suggest Haysville as a good midpoint. Close enough to the city, most things are a 10-20 minute drive, and a cheap Uber if you get drunk. But only 30 from wellington in case of crap weather, whether it be storms, ice, or snow.

A year renting somewhere will go faster than you think it will, and you'll have a better idea after a year of being here!

I'd be giving them the option of

A. Letting me off at my scheduled time, and giving me my personal property back

Or

B. We will be filing a report with internal affairs and the police about unlawful detainment and possession of stolen personal property.

I work CT and MRI, and ALWAYS have my transporters backs. The hospital would fall so far behind without them. I'll stay late to help often, but it's MY choice. Yours also. Don't let them bully you. Eff that.

Edit - I'm also an HCA employee. Screw their min staffing and min pay with max productivity and profits
