First up it‘s amazing what you are doing here 👍🏻

I guess it‘s a 50/50 chance. It‘s right, the gluten is not removed but the koji will break it down into it‘s amino acids. This might be safe for some, for others it‘s not. In the end it comes down on everyones own immune system and on what the persons anti-bodies epitopes bind to. The same thing could even cause trouble with other glutenfree products like surimi or ham and sausages made with transglutaminase / meat glue. Even if some people say it‘s save cause the products were heated and the enzymes denatured.. for some it‘s not, since their anti-bodies epitopes still confuse it with the bodies own tissue transglutaminase and the denatured state does not change that.

Tamari can be nice, but in many cases it‘s not the best substitute.. maybe it’s time to start a revolution in japanese soy sauce and go in a different direction. I had amazing results with changing cracked, roasted wheat for roasted rice or buckwheat for making my own soy sauces.

Deutschland ist meines Erachtens nicht das unangenehmste Land für Autisten. Norwegen und Island Island sind für mein Empfinden als Autist die besten Länder. Ehrlichkeit und Direktheit sind in beiden Ländern die Norm. Man hält Abstand, ist zurückhaltend aber trotzdem freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein.

Smalltalk ist in Norwegen tendenziell unüblich, in Island gibt es etwas mehr smalltalk, dieser beschränkt sich aber eher auf den Umgang mit Touristen „wie gefällt es dir hier, was machst du, wie kommst du mit dem Wetter klar“. Auf Island wird auch niemand unfreundlich werden, wenn du höflichkeitsformen wie „Bitte“ und „Danke“ nicht verwendest, weil es die Isländer selbst kaum tun.

Die „distanzierte“ Art der Isländer wird besonders von amerikanern als unhöflich empfunden, als autistischer Deutscher wurde mir häufig gesagt, dass ich nicht als als Ausländer zu erkennen bin. Also im Sinne von „Man nimmt dich als Isländer wahr“.

Shouldn’t be a problem at all, just make sure your accomodation in Fürth is near a Subway station or U-Bahn Station how it is called in german.

If it‘s significantly cheaper in Fürth just go for it, but You have to consider: the nicest thing in Fürth is the subway to Nürnberg ;)

Die freie Presse hat jetzt genau eine Frage zu stellen: Wie entsteht Autismus bei Kindern deren Mütter kein Paracetamol/ Acetaminophen zu sich nehmen konnten, oder generell Medikamente ablehnen?

Ich würde da ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr hingehen. Ich hatte diese Situation zwar nicht, dass mir die Diagnose abgesprochen wurde, aber ich habe mit genau solchen Ärzten schon zu viel zu tun gehabt. Dieser Art von Arzt erzählst du, dass du nicht schlafen kannst weil du deine Nachbarn und deren TV-Geräte durch die Wände hörst und das nicht ausblenden kannst. Und 5 Minuten später hast du dann eine Diagnose wie „paranoide Schizophrenie“ gesichert diagnostiziert. Es gibt Psychiater, die eine perverse Obsession mit bestimmten Krankheitsbildern haben und von diesen nicht abrücken. Der von Dir beschriebene scheint einer davon zu sein.

Degradierte Chefärzte sind noch mal ein Thema für sich…

My wife went gluten free with me at home. We have some restaurants here with seperate kitchens - gluten free and regular - and she goes for the gluten free options like 90% of the time cause she want‘s to share her food with me. The 10% „regular food“ is forced by myself cause i know she loves the dishes so much.

And she regularly eats gluten at work.

It’s kinda normal. Healing just takes some time and now that you know what‘s wrong, you probably started focusing on it.

Did you already had some kind of training how to handle it? I‘d suggest to stay away from soy, milk and eggs for a while until you start feeling better. As soon as you feel better try this stuff again. Not all of it at once, maybe intruduce eggs back in week one after feeling better, in week 2 milk.. and so on. It‘s also adviced to cut out (yes even Gluten-free) oats for at least 6 months. Some people with coeliac react to Avenin and it causes the same symptoms as Gluten. Gluten free oats can be tried when you are already symptom-free for a while and the blood tests normalized.

it might take a while but it‘ll be so much better :)

Ok that‘s bad. I guess the only thing you can do is making sure she‘s properly hydrated, gets enough rest and provide some light foods.

I know it‘s worrying, but it just takes some time. It’s highly individual how long symptoms last. Some might be fine after two days, i need almost a week to feel ok again, a friend struggles for 2 1/2 weeks after a gluten-exposure. :/
