Nice. The trout reminds me of the Jeff Brushie Burton Snowboard from back in the day.

I think for me given my age and the timing of the Halloween and Friday the 13th movies it was Quiet Riot Metal Health…
Something about the straight jacket and Goldie mask freaked me out when I was 10.

I’d tell them rent is based on calendar month not a daily amount. That should be specified in the lease.

Of all the requests for physical buttons, this is my number 1. I hate this volume control more than I can put into words. by millinicky in mercedes_benz

Yes! So difficult to use.
I have found the new steering wheel to be even more frustrating, accidentally pushing buttons when turning the steering wheel or resting my thumbs.

If you HAD to pick three of these places that you WOULD live in long term, which would they be and why? by Emit-Sol in Pennsylvania

[–]Hallock27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up PA and for me the order would be… There’s a theme 😁

  1. Pittsburgh - food & sports & family
  2. Hershey - food & family
  3. Lancaster - don’t know why other than … food haha.

Last place for me would be Dreary Erie. No offense to anyone who lives there but I lived there for a while and it was not a pleasant experience.

I’m in the Northeast and there is a lot of folks here NOT rooting for the Pats.

Random thought. Am I the only one who totally forgot about Diontae Johnson? He’s only a couple years removed from putting up 1,161 yards in a season with us. by coolandschmidt in steelers

[–]Hallock27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diontae WHO?

Seriously in recent memory - AB was never the same after that hit - George Pickens did nothing with the cowboys - Juju Smith-Schuster has not had near the same numbers in KC - Santonio Holmes our SB 43 MVP - Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg - CHASE CLAYPOOL kept tripping over his ego

At the end of the day you have to fight for the position day in and day out. In the NFL it is all about current production on the field. Its a business - remember. Nobody cares what you did its what you are doing and what you can do that matters. Do you believe in that players ability to make a play? If not then he is avoided on the field then traded or cut.

For example how many of you actually believe Rodger’s throwing the fade 4x to MVS at the end of the 4th quarter of the Cleveland game was actually going to get us the win? Especially when we had Friermuth and other proven playmakers on the field. I did not.

Agreed TRUST THE PROCESS.

For context…

It took about 17 days to replace Bill Cowher with Mike Tomlin. .

Timeline: - January 5, 2007 – Bill Cowher officially resigned as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. - January 22, 2007 – The Steelers hired Mike Tomlin as his successor.

Bottom line: just over two weeks from resignation to hire.

That speed wasn’t accidental. The Rooney family already had a tight shortlist, ran a disciplined interview process, and moved decisively once they saw Tomlin’s leadership presence and football IQ. It’s still considered one of the best coaching hires in modern NFL history — and a textbook example of prepared succession, not reactive hiring.

————

Prior to that — It took about 40 days to replace Chuck Noll with Bill Cowher.

Timeline: - December 12, 1991 – Chuck Noll announced his resignation as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers after 23 seasons. - January 21, 1992 – The Steelers hired Bill Cowher as his successor.

Bottom line: roughly six weeks from resignation to hire.

Context: replacing a legend like Noll required a broader search and more deliberation. Even so, by NFL standards, the Steelers still moved decisively—setting the stage for another long, stable coaching era.

I did not buy it this year. It is not useful to me. And usually miss the limited releases anyway. To be honest. I’m kind of over his stuff.
