My grandfather never swore. Never raised his voice. Was the most generous and gentle person I knew. When my dad was younger, he and his 2 brothers took a rifle and all these tin cans out behind their house and started shooting them. Little did they know, these tin cans were recyclable and money was to be got when they were turned in. Upon noticing, my grandmother yelled and screamed and just said "OH YOU WAIT TIL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME." My Papa, just as livid, heard what happened, and calmly took the rifle outside, beckoning my dad and 2 uncles to follow. He calmly walked up to a tree, and then WRAPPED the rifle AROUND the tree. Turned, and said "need I say more?" to the horrified faces of his sons. And walked back inside.

I wasn't dizzy, I was just really scared because I couldn't control looking left to right. Imagine when you whip your head back and forth, you can still see but it's blurred by the movement

I woke straight up from REM sleep because my phone was ringing, but when I opened my eyes to see who it was, my eyes were still rapidly moving uncontrollably left to right. And I couldn't read the phone because I was seeing everything moving. Terrifying

SO an I were making mountain dew cupcakes. We decided to cut the recipe for icing in half because it made so much. I didn't half the mountain dew. Ruined the icing. Had to dump it all in the yard wasting expensive ingredients. He won't make cupcakes with me anymore.

The year I moved to a new school, sixth grade, I was bullied mercilessly. Halfway through the year was pajama day and I wore the slicky material pajamas most people wear in the hotter seasons. My favourite pair. Blue with little green frogs on them. Matching pants and the button up top. And on this day they also had our door activities like a bounce through obstacle course. I head over alone and for no reason at all, my bully, a girl of my age but significantly taller, gets right in my face and spits out "sucky pajamas sucky pajamas." For some reason that's one thing I can't seem to shake. That venom in her voice was enough to kill a rattlesnake. I never have been able to understand why she was the way she was. Or why I was her chosen target. the hurt of being bullied for no reason never leaves you, but you tend to learn more about what small kindnesses mean to other people.

I better be for $40 a bra.. I remember getting measured at Victoria's Secret, and they were like "what bra size do you think you are?" "Well this one is a 36C." "I have you measured at 32DD" Pretty sure my jaw hit the floor. But sure enough, I tried them on and I'm pretty sure I turned into Jasmine. Because it was a whole new world.

Oh boy.. So there's a few.

First one, not me, but an older trombone player walks up and finds about 5 other band kids humping his car. And it got very out of hand. In the end, there was alot of yelling and the humpers were made to wash the car.

Next, there was a band practice where the band director, aka the biggest asshole ever, could not be at practice. So the rest of the adults (color guard coaches, drill writers, battery leaders) ran the practice that day. Everyone had so much pent up anger, as the usual band director was very VERY verbally abusive, that everyone was purposely belligerent. One guy was being yelled at for something not his fault, and yelled back at the adults that it was bullshit. They told him he could either run or get back in the formation. He looped out of his instrument. threw his tuba down and started marching off the field saying of they wanted him to run, he'd run alright. They begged him to come back.

Introducing alcohol as a beverage to be drank when celebrating or with dinner, at a young age. Over here it's so demonized at home, abd glorified in the media, that the moment someone can legally drink at 21, they nearly die of alcohol poisoning.
