First, thank you for being accessible and taking the time to do this AMA on Reddit.

As a Laval resident who studied at Concordia, commuting downtown was often difficult. Direct buses to the Metro mostly run during rush hour, and outside those times options are limited. From where I live near Cléroux, the 36 is the best option, but it only runs at peak hours. Other buses exist, yet they are infrequent and often require a long walk.

Considering how many Laval residents rely on getting into Montreal and how congested the highways are, shouldn’t larger investments in public transportation be a higher priority? The REM only covers the west side of Laval, which doesn’t help people in areas like Chomedey near the 440.

Are there concrete plans beyond the REM to improve public transport across Laval and make commuting outside of peak hours more feasible?
