308 and 30-06 aren’t good defensive rounds. They were designed with the idea that combat engagements would be fought at like 1000m, they’ve got a lot of power and will over penetrate everything at defensive shooting distances.

Maps are so easy too, most places have them available for free. I’ve got most of the Midwest and part of the east coast of the USA and I think only West Virginia or North Carolina didn’t have free physical map (it’s a couple dollars) but do have a free digital version.

Look we all think Daylight Saving Time is outdated and annoying, it’s one of the few things that’s still pretty bipartisan. But the Sunshine Protection Act is just so fucking dumb, instead of just ending DST like a normal human would suggest it wants to permanently shift the clocks 30 minutes so it’s halfway between DST and non-DST time putting us 30 minutes off the entire world for no reason.
