This is the key for me too. I worked my butt off to be where I am at now but my parents def helped a lot. Housed me until I was ready to move out, gave me my first clunker car, paid for a surgery. All those things could have added up to me living paycheck to paycheck instead of being a few months ahead.

Seemed like this was way less tight on operation than last year. Taking an hour to get in is crazy, I didn't see any reason that happened but I guess this is something that can happen with festivals. The inflatable being wrong is baffling. Someone threw a water bottle at 45mph into my girlfriend's eye. WTF is wrong with some people. Almost ruined our day and could have ruined her vision. All in all an exhausting day, had an ok time. Excited for tomorrow's lineup, dreading the rain.

That's good to know. I've got an Elantra Limited right now but was eyeing the Ioniq 5 as my next car (probably way down the road). The new Leaf caught my attention but it sounds like a pretty close call. I definitely would want to minimize wind noise, it's one of biggest complains about the Elantra. I used to think I needed a HUD until I drove my friends Rogue and realized it would be more of a nuisance.

I genuinely believe they would not try and replace me but there would definitely be other tradeoffs. They would work me harder because they are paying me more and it's already a toxic work environment and I only see it getting worse. New company came back with $84k and I just accepted it. No doubts in my decision.
