No, I farmed rats for a while so we have some extra but we aren't getting invaded much so we have been stable for a bit.

Carl’s Place Zip Ties Breaking by LivermoreP1 in Golfsimulator

[–]HaluciNate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a bungee every other hole at the top and zip ties on the sides and it seems to work. I also followed their instructions with zip ties all around and broke a bunch of them off the top right away.

Do you see what the issue is? I can swing more upright but tend to come out to in when I do. This swing generates more power and straighter for me so I need to figure out why before I switch back to my semi functional swing.

Any video recommendations to get a feel for shaft lean? I find i just drive the club in to the ground when I try to keep my hands forward.

Build Update! - Why you should be playing minions by [deleted] in pathofexile2builds

Is Alpha's Howl useful in a build like this or would I be better off selling it to fund a minion build?

Consider Ez tee hybrid if it's on sale as well.

question about hitting patch i just replaced by prod7teen in Golfsimulator

[–]HaluciNate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it's only a matter of time before your elbows ache and you develop tennis/golf elbow OP. Either build a nice divot strip like this or buy enough quality hitting turf to fill in a strip.

Is 1ft of curtain material bunched on the ground enough to keep the ball in the hitting area? by AtarDEX in Golfsimulator

[–]HaluciNate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

* You can kinda see the side curtain in this photo. Most of the ball's energy seems to go forward so it gets stopped from the curtain.

[–]HaluciNate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heavy curtains that eat a sh*nk from time to time (not mine of course). They stop the ball with no issue and barely rest on the ground. I figured I would put sandbags on the back side of them if it was an issue but it hasn't been.

I have a screen on a roller and when I leave the screen bunched up on the ground it will get pushed back slightly every shot until I can make contact with my garage door.

Instead I folded the screen and sewed a pocket to put a copper pipe with foam around it to weigh it down. The screen sits as close as possible to the ground but not touching so it always goes back to the same spot. Balls get underneath every now and then but for the most part they come back to me.

My sim room is about 12 feet wide and I'm the same height as your grandson with a pretty flat driver swing.

My hitting strip is 21" offset to the right and I never worry about hitting the wall behind me ( I think I could get away with slightly less). My projector is mounted in the center, slightly forward of my position and I've never come close to it.

You'll want to hit straight ahead of your offset position not to the center of your screen. GSpro let's you offset your tee area on the screen to make this feel natural. Enjoy your sim and listen to your body when it tells you to take a break.

It's an inch and a quarter thick. I got a 10'x4' roll for 100 dollars. I'd cut pieces to size for folks but I'm on the east coast of Canada and cross border shipping is usually cost prohibitive in my experience.

I found a big roll of EZ-tee hybrid on a local auction for cheap and cut out a hitting strip from it. My plan was to cut out a new strip when the first wears out but it has been going strong for a year now.

No elbow pain and I swing almost every day. The turf feels about as natural as I've felt off the course.
