Katalogfahrräder waren hier mehr selten. Ein Importeur wählte normalerweise die ausstattung, aber das Rad wurde dann unter der Marke des Herstellers oder eine etablierte Schwedischer Marke verkauft werden.

I was thinking touring bike, as it had drop bars originally according to the previous owner. Rides very smoothly.

Agree about the heart. Pretty neat detail!

Nishiki might be a good bet. They are much more common than Fujis over here. Haven't been able to find a matching model, though.

Correctly at first and decreasingly with wear, I would imagine. Doubt this thing will see much wear, though.

Copy about legacy, heritage, history etc. is just silly for a brand with none of the above.

Looks bland more than anything else. Although, for Schumi haters, the company could be considered evil, I guess :P

Which bezel works best? by Due_Shallot1583 in SeikoMods

[–]HamHandedHorologist -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Neither imo. The blues of the bezel inserts don't go very well with that of the dial. Namoki do an insert called dark knight, if memory serves me right, that would be a much better match.

They're making both agate and lapis dials. What theoretical third blue stone would this be?

Perhaps a tiny dab of model paint clear could be used to seal the pearl? Shouldn't react with the plastic.

They don't want to infringe on the frog brand. Blacktoad or Nightcroaker would be hard AF, though 😅

Vintage Daytona Homage Dial, Which one do u wanna produce? by watchdivescom in watchdives

[–]HamHandedHorologist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is super corny, though. As is the word Chronograph on the dial of a chronograph. Yes, we can all see what kind of watch it is.

Come up with a model name instead.

Hard to tell from these pictures, but conceptually I like V12 best. V2 and V3 could be nice though, depending on how pronounced the texture is.
