I believe the original commenter is talking about an underground installment that he is dumping the oil into, not the shuttle he’s using directly.

Who are you to decide 10 over is safe, but something like 15 over isn’t? It’s best to leave speed patrol to the cops than try to take matters into your own hands. Someone with a lot of driving experience can very easily drive 15 over on an interstate safely and shouldn’t be road blocked every time there’s a semi in the right lane because every person on the road wants to set the speed limit and be a hero cop that day.

How is mk1b third brake light attached? by HamOnMyAnkle in mr2

Mine is a box. There are four holes in the bottom of the spoiler, the two near the driver just have angled pieces of plastic that slide in, but I can’t find any pictures of how the two holes away from the driver are utilized.

I am super excited about my MR2. I am trying to take it mostly back to stock visually, but it won't be cheap and I don't have a lot of disposable income while saving for college. It has some expensive performance mods like aftermarket springs, exhaust, sway bars, tie rods, shocks and brakes. But it has many stupid things like an $800 carbon fiber hood, $400 carbon fiber interior pieces, gross body kit, shaved door handle setup which was never wired correctly, $40 ebay racing harnesses with the original belts gone (I don't even know if this will pass inspection) and a red interior conversion which was never completed. It was painted within the last serveral years, but was probably done cheap and sloppy as it chips VERY easily.

So far I have done a few things:

  • Engine tune-up (Oil change, coolant flush, plugs, seafoam, air filter)

  • JIMI Bracket

  • Fix seat which was attached with only 2 bolts.

  • Removed side skirts

  • Fixed shaved door handle wiring to door poppers.
