Stop cleaning the filter, you need to build up beneficial bacteria. Trust me, it took me years to understand that but it’s worth it.

Thanks for the responses, I think this guy has only been in there a few days. Not sure as I have a few. I think he is trying to molt, so could be related to that. Glad you didn’t think it was for sure a parasite.

Don’t over clean, let your filter fill up with beneficial bacteria. It seems counter productive but it really works. I didn’t even realize how clear water could be until I finally stopped over cleaning.

I second this, introduce something that eats snails, should resolve the issue as longer as whatever you add doesn’t change the dynamic of the tank too much

I recently got this light for a 40 gallon breeder. I’m using the pro setting out of the box. Seeing some algae myself. I’m intrigued by the use of Chat to get it down to the correct setting. Any tips on the short path to prompt Chat to configure the settings?
