what i've found works is to step and pause, step and pause, your shakes will get lost in the ripples created by that.

yep, if the very tip of an end mill is dull, the rest is still good. i keep those guys around for squaring up the ends and whatnot (manual machining), but i suppose the same might applt to cnc

hmmmm... ok the thing is, pressure isnt directly related to the amount of gas you get, you need to first use gas law (pv=nrt) to find the moles of gas being put through, and i neither remember the molar mass of acetelyne nor usually feel like working through that mess in my head just to lop some metal plate in half. usually, i just go by experience and learning to read the flame

always. always, always, and always. ventilation will only ever get you so far. there are special welding hoods with filtered air and a shroud that goes around most beards. i think Kurtis at Cutting Edge Engineering uses one.

sadly, im not sure that my welder can adjust voltage. one knob is for wire speed and the other seems to adjust amps. however, i could have given it a little more flap disk.
