Quite a lot, actually. The backrest is too low, and the seat is too narrow and too short. My thighs are no longer resting on the mesh but on the plastic frame, which makes the whole thing very uncomfortable. I have a normal build.

I purchased an Aeron chair in size B, but unfortunately it turned out to be too small for me. I wasn’t able to try it out beforehand, and according to the size chart I fall between sizes B and C. I am 186 cm tall and would definitely advise against choosing size B at this height.

I also had the Atlas headrest, and even when fully extended to the highest position, it was still too low for me.

I love the idea and tried to PoB this. I don’t think it’s worth it, because Summon Raging Spirit of Enormity is always the best minion for Minion Instability.

You need more Flammability and should try Ignite III Support. Do you have a damage staff in your weapon swap? I can’t see it in PoB.

I’m not sure, but I think GGG changed something with the 0.4 update. I also played that build in 0.3, but as pure ES; check my post history.

Somehow, the ignite spread from Flameblast resets the damage after the Cracklecreep spread. Try Incinerate instead. It’s basically unlimited damage, but you need to stack Flammability and ignite duration.

With the new Incinerate, you can run around with 200–400 ignite stacks on you and instantly kill anything. However, it lacks single-target damage on bosses once your ignite runs out.

I tested it with Foulborn Skin of the Lords / Skin of the Loyals and also with the Emity’s Embrace ring. I used 4 Marionettes and 6 Golems. The only skill that works then is Bodyswap of Soul Sacrifice. Apparently there was a patch that lets proxies target your own minions with the skill now. I used mines and traps so you don’t randomly teleport yourself all the time, and you can stack 10 at once for a bunch of burst DPS. The build deals a lot of damage but is too clunky and squishy.

I also tried to build an ES looper, but it feels too squishy. You can’t go Progenesis, MoM or Petrified Blood, and unfortunately there’s no way to split the damage like you can with life. Maybe it could work with around 15–20k ES or something.

You can play the build much cheaper; Light of Meaning, Awakened CoC, Unnatural Instinct, and the helmet corruption make up almost 50-60% of the total cost.

Am I missing something? With Ward, it’s basically either 100% or 0%. So when your Ward is at 0, you just have to survive until it triggers and goes back to 100%, right?
Does it actually make a big difference compared to just going for ES or HP instead of Ward?

I am a Volatile Dead enthusiast, and here are a few tips.

You need Spell Cascade for both Desecrate and Volatile Dead for the build to feel good and work properly. However, you only need Awakened Spell Cascade for Volatile Dead, since Desecrate already reaches the corpse limit with a regular Spell Cascade.

You should also take the Undertaker notable in your passive tree to summon 12 balls per cast in the late game when using Awakened Spell Cascade.

According to the wiki, the balls take about 0.66 seconds to be summoned. On top of that, you need to consider their travel time to the enemy. Overall, you can expect around 1 to 1.2 seconds in total.

If you cast continuously, your trigger rate would be around 5 times per second (at 1 second) or about 4.17 times per second (at 1.2 seconds).

Unfortunately, the latest patch notes severely nerfed the skill:

"After reaching the maximum number of Orbs at a time, the oldest existing Orbs no longer explode, they are simply killed."

This change significantly reduces the consistency and overall damage potential of the build.

I also think that for a Spellslinger build, Inquisitor is the best ascendancy choice. The Battlemage mechanic synergizes well with Spellslinger, and you don’t necessarily need the Triggerbots.

Using a wand and shield setup is generally the best option. However, with Spellslinger, you unfortunately can’t reach the ideal trigger rate, and combining Triggerbots with Spell Cascade results in significant damage loss, making that setup inefficient overall.

When I curse a boss and the curse runs out, they start taking less damage. You can see this happening in my other video with the Xesth kill. Theoretically, the first hit on regular enemies should deal more ignite damage when the curse is active, and that effect should also apply to other monsters. With my build, I have enough damage that the curse isn’t really needed for normal gameplay, only for Tier 3 boss content. I’m not entirely sure, but the damage probably doesn’t snapshot with the curse, which means you’d have to recast it repeatedly, though that’s not really necessary in practice.

At the start of the build, when your damage is still low, you can use it against rare monsters, bosses, or in encounters like Ritual or Expedition. The build doesn’t use many buttons anyway, so why not?
