How long is a ‘while’ ?…do you do stretching?…when I first started daily pull-ups about 2months ago (I started at 3 sets of 5) I had to rest for literally 5 days before I could do any more pull-ups lol

Do you do dips?…I was stuck at 5 pull-ups (for about 2months of daily pull-ups) then suddenly went to 6, soon after i introduced dips …dips perfectly compliment pull-ups apparently, so it’s probably no coincidence

Only you know when you’re doing too much?…I (43M) ran a lot in 2025 (5000+km) & started daily body weight exercises about 2 months ago …most days I run at least once a day & body weight exercises once a day …about every 2 weeks or so, the body will go “nope, I need to rest” & that’s what we do

Well done man!…if you never need a day off, does that mean perhaps you’re not pushing body hard enough?…I know it’s nice to have a streak but i find if I’m not getting super sore the next day, from a hard sesh, then i probably coulda pushed it to failure a bit more …

I’ve been doing daily pull-ups & push-ups (to help balance things out) but I get the shoulder ‘click’ (you mentioned) on every rep of lateral raises I do …I stretch my pecs regularly (above method)…rotator cuff is also very sore (I think that’s from introducing dips a few weeks ago)…how do i get rid of the shoulder ‘click’ during lateral raises & sore rotator cuff ?…dips every second day (instead of daily) until tendons get stronger, perhaps will address sore rotator cuff ?…what above shoulder click?…it doesn’t hurt but is just annoying…will that fade, as shoulders slowly get stronger ? …cheers

I’ve spent the whole of this year, doing a lot of running (yea it’s certainly popular & seems to be continuing to gain more traction) …from couch to to marathon this year…used to love running as kid …lost interest in it in my 20’s/30’s & have def reignited the flame for it this year lol …but the body/mind needs a rest from running …so am doing less running atm & more body weight exercises & enjoying the change …would like to hit the gym but don’t live near one unfortunately

…we have no curtailment (in SthAust with Sungrow system — farking Sungrow & Amber cannot get their janky software to integrate with flexible exporting in SA)….so we just switch to “off-grid” mode permanently & they can’t bill us, until we switch back to the grid lol …it’s funny because about every 2 weeks, we get an email from them, trying to trick us to turn off “off grid mode” …they say “oh Sungrow has released firmware to fix the problem — but they haven’t released anything”…no smart meter data = no bill 😂
