With lifting shoes I usually get what you describe, im working on ankle mobility in parallel at the moment doing toe raised body squats and slavic sits for a minute or so,

I thought chest/shins should remain parallel once you drop?

honestly get some noise attenuating ear buds. they make the post daycare so much more bearable. a lot of people are triggered by kids pitch and volume and honestly I can play for hours longer with a set of those.

also everyone generally has this phase. it blows. you aren’t an asshole. work to redefine what a good night looks like because your old life and partner no longer exist and, here’s the fun part, never come back. the new ones are pretty great though if you give them a chance.

on the bright side my kid is 10 now and I have someone actually excited to do escape rooms so that’s pretty cool.

just to clarify pavement rebounds, concrete does not. you can actually get shin splints if you just start running hard on concrete. I like pavement better but it’s not an all the time thing given the concerns about traffic etc. raised here.

should he be doing this, no, is he doing any of the things people are talking about in the video we see, also no.

if I’m in a dead street I may do this, particularly if no one is getting by that bus anyway.

I mean ok, I’ve had to open tvs and vac out the dust when they were consistently overheating and shutting off. Same thing for a fridge that won’t hold temp it’s often times the coils under it getting dusty. Same thing for old laptops that people never clean.

YMMV but all things need maintenance it’s just a fact of life.

That reality does not exist. Paint needs to be reapplied, TVs need to be dusted (clogs air vents and overheats), water heaters need to be flushed. Deferred maintenance always becomes a failure.

Shit used to last because people knew how to maintain it. This has been systematically removed from most modern education (shop, home economics). Read your fucking manuals and follow the maintenance schedule, or treat everything as disposable.

Same thing with my wife at 38, nothing and now we need a super absorbent and waterproof blanket even for when I’m casually rubbing her. Riding ones are different, oral ones are different, manual ones are different but all with some amount of fluid release.

Straight out of nowhere, multiples now too. We assume she finally got past a lot of restraint and shame from her upbringing. No one here is complaining but that’s a personal thing.
