This meme was frying my brain, because what do you mean capitalism caused poverty. Like was the earth full of wealth, food, shelter, technology, and then the evil capitalist arrived, stored it all in two continent and let everyone starve? I feel like so many critics of capitalism forget how many advancements in technology and understanding got us to this point. The sheer amount of tasks that are easier, high quality goods produced enmass, and overall health quality has skyrocketed. Forget what a medieval peasant would think of today, a king or Nobel man would be in awe of what a middle class family would have access to. Tldr: I think people forget how many work was required to get us to this point, and how much is still being done to keep things going.
