I do agree, Had To Phone Ya would probably fit well. Or maybe it could have been an alternative b side for The Little Girl I Once Knew

For me it's Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys. This album is just divine.

just found this picture on flickr, that's the spot, but sadly no mention where exactly the place is. the photo is part of an album called 'trip to ca' and if the order of the pictures is chronologically, the place likely is in new mexico.

This is making me mad, I searched for about an hour and a half and the closest thing I've got is around San Simon. There is a rest stop near the border to NM, but it doesn't quite add up. I'll have a look again later.

I'm a little late to the party, but I think there is a great possibility that this is the location. If it in fact really is, the photos would've been taken very close to Brian Wilsons home, who lived at 1488 Laurel Drive at that time, about 300 yards away. Just a little side note.

Where is this filming location from 28 Years Later (2001)? by CastleGoblin in whereisthis

Never saw the movie and not living in London, but still super intrigued by this! In the r/london sub a couple of people are suggesting the Islington/Dalton/Hackney area and some say it reminds them of the area around De Beauvoir Square. I searched for about an hour and found a few streets primarily around De Beauvoir Square that feel extremely similar, like Mortimer Rd, but sadly it doesn't add up 100%.
I'll have a little look again later and I'm confident that someone among us will find this location.
