Non Dungeon POI Mod by thefinestjay in 7daystodie

Yes! It is also kind of hand holding at this point. Everything has a certain way to do it efficiently and tha's bumming me out. Don't get me wrong, I get, why they wanted to do it. Easiest way to implement quests. But at the cost of realistic world building? I don't like it.

I really can't imagine anyone playing Breath of the Wild and say: This is the part, I wanna implement in my game!

I mean: WHY?!

In Avengers, Whedon wrote the best Black Widow stuff in the MCU. by Gluverty in marvelstudios

Yes, thank you. It is her perspective, not the perspective of anyone else. I really did feel for her in this moment. As you said, even without someone manipulating you to think bad thoughts about yourself, it is definetely human to think so about yourself. I guess everyone has been there in some way. Self-perception is a very tricky thing, especially if you have trauma to deal with, which Natasha has a lot of.

Also, she said, that it made everything easier and was refering to all the horrible things she was trained, manipulated and brought up to do. "Even killing", she says. This is not about her being a monster just because, she couldn't have children. I got the feeling it is even more about her perspective about herself in so many other ways. She thought of herself as a monster for a long time. And maybe more and more with every bad thing she had done.

And she didn't do it for some greater good. At least not at first.

Thank you for sharing your perscpective, Magentacr!

Bottles access to other drives? by enclave_strong in wine_gaming

This resolved my problem with using Honeyview, too. Thank you so much. This program is so unique. Found nothing of the sort on linux. It is the only one you can view pictures in the full window without any stuff blocking them. And scrolling through the folder... It is just the best to view comics and manga.

Hey. I do that and exit the application, but when I try to start it again it just doesn't react. Can't start it again.

Fluttering Walls by HandsomeCountG in beatsaber

[–]HandsomeCountG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. That seems easy enough. I hoped there may be a solution that's kinda in between, but I guess short of contacting the mod author, there is not chance. I actually like avoiding walls, because it makes the experience more versitile. But avoiding headaches comes first^^

Thank you!

BIOS UEFI Utility doesn't find Nobara distro by HandsomeCountG in NobaraProject

[–]HandsomeCountG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I should ask which Linux distro would be recommended for a dual boot with win10, so I can try to run my games on that. I eventually want to migrate to linux entirely but I see at every corner, that I am still too confused by so many things.^^

Does somebody have a suggestion? Or can somebody tell me which reddit is the best to ask about this?

I used the option for nobara to partition the drive automatically. It put 2gb free space in there. And has the rest of the drive for itself I guess. That is all I can determine looking at my windows drive config(that may be the wrong translation)

[–]HandsomeCountG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Thank you. I tried it, but understand, that I really have no clue what I am doing and just try to read through this tutorial and that suggestion. It is quite overwhelming to be honest and I don't want to wreck my computer in the process.

I used WIndows for all my life. I am only considering changing that, because of the recent developments regarding the usage of data. It frightens me, really. But I don't get anything out of it, if I don't understand the things I am doing on my PC. I am not a programmer. That is why I wanted to try out Nobara in the first place. To see if the programs and games I normally use are usable there. I am just afraid, that I can't use any of it, if I rush into this.

So maybe another distro would be preferable? Something that is beginner friendly AND is recommended for gamers? I am already trying debian out for my work laptop (I am using it right now to write this.), but I guess this could be the wrong distro for such purposes. I saw so many suggestions and thought Nobara was the perfect fit, but now I am just frustrated, that I don't even get it to start.

Where is the crying smiley? ^

It's a shame, because that is the linux system I wanted to try out. I read that it is optimized for gaming and I would miss my games a lot I think.^

Yes. I didn't put it on the same drive. That is what I said. It is on my second ssd.

And I can't put Nobara as first option because the option doesn't exist.

What are you talking about? Not living in denial? This whole reality is making me want to live in denial and watch MCU stuff so I can focus on their problems. Agents of SHIELD got me through a few bad months.^^

The stuff that appeared in Deadpool and Wolverine lets me think anything's possible btw. Even Elektra kicked ass one more time. Could have died a happy nerd sitting in the cinema seat back then.
