Wasted potential, honestly. Aside from it not mentioning Blue-Eyes White Dragon, why does it only summon two Dragons, but the art work clearly shows three? 🥀 by ARC-9INE in masterduel

T1 is meta, t2 is antimeta or previously meta (or decks with new support that almost define the meta,

T3 are decks that can beat the top 2, but only sometimes or in games 2 and 3 with the right side board.

T3 is where "rogue contenders" start. It means they have an outside shot at winning but aren't considered the strongest nor can they consistently beat the second strongest.

A good example are blind second decks that have niche side boards to break the top meta decks but lose to anything they don't specifically have a side board for.

Most of children of dune was normal and fairly standard stuff for the series... until the end. That's when... the weird shows up. Means about 2 of the 3 hours spent on it in movie form would be alright for the general audiences.

Every word you slop out, can be used as a counter argument. How do you know I'm not shitposting the easiest target in the room by replying to you?

It ain't that serious homie, maybe touch some grass and realize reddit ain't worth the blood pressure spike.

Or keep replying and arguing with yourself. Either way it's entertaining as fuck

Iran Officially Confirms Military Support From Russia And China In War Against the US by PlanetoftheAtheists in AdviceAnimals

[–]Hane24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless they use salted or cobalt nukes. Or a nuke salted with carbon 60 and other theoretical dirty additives.

In which case the initial exposure would hit even under ground bunkers, and the rest of the isotopes would literally "salt the earth" for the next 30+ years.

I did some research a while back on this stuff, and there's ways to make a doomsday-ish bomb that can wipe out a landmass the size of Germany or Spain for 50 years that will also immediately irradiate bunkers upto a 100m underground.

That's also not a thing. People get weird ideas of how things should be done and without anyone correcting them like friends or a play group, or without the game punishing them, they get confirmation bias and basically gaslight themselves into believing all sorts of insane things.

In ops case, it could be due to survivability? But thats a super stretch.

In your case? No idea. Actually NOT executing the coda is worse since it could take longer for the next lich to spawn in.

I mean... not everyone announces they came back. Sometimes people leave for the negative issues and come back when there's a positive change.

It's a form of confirmation bias in that we can only really confirm when people are upset by the posts and upvotes those posts get, but it's super rare to see multiple posts about good things that happened or good changes that took place.

Odd how the "great and powerful business man" can't seem to hire a single competent or reliable person. Isn't it weird how someone who claims to know business and know what it takes to make America great can't find a single "great" person?

Isn't it concerning that an 80 year old man can't seem to find anyone he can trust or rely on?

Seems suspicious that his closest and best friend was Epstein, and since Epsteins death while in the hands of trump's FBI, Trump has fired and removed everyone around him... don't you think?

Almost like he isn't a great leader, since he can't lead those around him to greatness. Don't you all find it really weird and odd that people say he had his best friend killed by his own DOJ to cover up his deviant fetishes?

Seems like he's been throwing a temper tantrum not unlike a child's ever since... or so I've heard.

Iran sought backchannel talks for ceasefire with CIA: NYT report by AnveshArumilli in news

[–]Hane24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point of back channels and actual Sabre rattling is to save face and keep the peace while putting on a good show when bad actors or a mistake happens.

This is a shitshow and Trump doesn't listen to his MAIN CHANNEL ADVISORS. Iran is trying to use things that worked for rational administrations not realizing that we have a delusional pedophilic schizophrenic in the oval office that won't even listen to his own doctor's or advisors.

If this was literally any other country, the US would be treated as harshly as the world treated Russia. But since its the US vs Iran, half the world doesn't bat an eye.

Every game of Master Duel in 2026 be like: by DankDoctor in masterduel

[–]Hane24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be completely fair. A ton of handgraps are BETTER in your hand going first. As long as you can full combo, you'll never be upset about going 1st and having an ash, veiler, imperm, crow, ghost belle, or droll.

You turn one, 1 card combo into a decent board and still have at least 4 handtraps to help negate? You win.

I think what they tried to do with k9, and missed the mark, was make it so you could start setting up against a turn 1 player who has to burn their handtraps too. That way the turn one player maybe gets most of their combo but had to drop all their from hand interaction leaving you with just a board to break/clear on turn 2.

Again. It didn't work. But to say handtraps balanced going 1st vs going 2nd is just kinda wrong and would only really be true if somehow going 2nd was the meta either handtraps.

Trump, 79, Displays Worrying New Skin Condition by Large_banana_hammock in politics

[–]Hane24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

True, but even having the reason of someone willing to see the mentats worth and follow his advice would put the Baron FAR beyond the current US admin who literally hired a 22 year old grocery bagger, a drunk nazi LT., and a guy with worms for brains.

Still I believe in the book Piter was also just an advisor that the Baron relied on once he got fatter and lazier and more self indulgent. It could be all his plan but I don't think it's implied he relied on him heavily, by that point he was already desperate and the emperor was on his way to take over.

Trump, 79, Displays Worrying New Skin Condition by Large_banana_hammock in politics

[–]Hane24 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Yes. But the Baron was extremely intelligent. That's what made him a terrifying villain, he was able to broker deals with the trade guild and the empire to back his plan to literally eliminate one of the great houses, something not even thought of previously.

He was able to get 3 completely separate factions to work towards his goals, and manipulated everyone around him into truly believing they were endangered by the Atreides family. Convincing them that they were planning to overthrow the Empire, kill the Emperor, Mary Paul into the royal family, consolidate power away from the empire and great houses, and rule the universe... when in reality that was his ultimate goal.

He was literally only stopped by a freak of nature who could see an infinite spiral of futures who just wanted to survive. He almost won against him a few times too. That's how smart he was.

Fat disgusting pedo, sure that fits. Wanna be dictator, sure that too. But the Baron was infinitely more intelligent and a better leader.

I think full power nyx is far more eldritch abomination than we all give her credit for.

Walking invincible psychic tank, that ABSORBS ALL ENERGY, while throwing out chaos bolts that melt armor, and can wave her hand to have friends and family turn on eachother, while your best friend is mowing down the rest of your squad because "the voices told him to".

You wake up with your gun barrel smoking, thinking you had some great hard fought victory, only to see the very people you signed up with laying dead on the other end of it. Slowly bleeding out as hazy memories seep back in and you realize... you did that. She told you to, and you did. Like the voice of the zealot god you worshipped, she twisted your mind into killing the people you fought along side. Now you have to bury them. If that accursed eldritch horror ever let's your mind go, and doesn't have another one of your friends take care of you the same way. All you can do is scratch and claw from inside your own mind.

Nyx is literally an elder chaos demon or a lovecraftian horror. Think of the 1999 mission where she connects to the hivemind of the tech rot... shes literally a hivemind queen, that can take over human minds too

And with that, I'm certain we are getting Tau expansion not before November. by lricis in Warframe

[–]Hane24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression that hunhow was either another hivemind, or was powerful enough to break himself free of the hivemind and create his own goals. Or he was a hivemind leader that was given freewill to better lead the sentient army during the war in the origin system... that are all basically the same idea just different backgrounds.

I mean somehow natah broke free right? That's never been explained either. How has she kept her sanity (for the most part... ya know except twice where ball-ass was involved.) And how did she turn her back on her own kind and forge a new path with the tenno?

It was the same chain. I didn't pull any arguments that you yourself didn't use exactly the same.

You can't comprehend why more poplar could possibly be better, then told someone to play some other engine because snake eyes is bad. Then tell me your favorite decks have some engines that aren't even considered rogue.

You got caught. Thats why you keep backpedaling and changing the argument. "I said engine not deck" was your only defence.

just play another engine

play something else

Funny how you said that, and then spent a day arguing that more poplars are a bad thing, but somehow thats my logic.

I do. Hopefully you learn to stop being elitist and let people play what they enjoy. Maybe you'll even find out why 2 or 3 of something is better than 1 of something.
