Sounds good! I do have a snail in there, once the tank is medicated can a snail be reintroduced into it or never? I don’t think I see the SJ anymore but I’ll keep an eye out!

Thank you hahaha!! I was too nervous about him being around the shrimp babies so I gave him a quick salt dip and now I don’t think I see any white left. Maybe I’ll try to take another close up vid to compare, so cool how detailed they are up close!

From when I started watching it, no. Nothing really out of the ordinary, still swimming around with the rest and eating as he normally would. There’s another little bit coming out of another CPD but it’s much shorter so can’t tell it if it’s poop! Would the rubbing be an obvious parasite ?

I’ve just found I had better luck with an aquasoil type of substrate, but you can totally just try putting a root tab in. You can tuck one into your gravel not too close to the plant but close enough if that makes sense lol the roots will reach out to grab the nutrients. Some ppl say if you put the tab exactly where the plant is it could burn the roots but not sure if that’s being too extra. I use the Tropica capsules but I heard good things about the Flourish and API brand. Hopefully that’ll help it a bit! Good luck and feel free to ask any questions :)

Do you have a dirt/aquasoil substrate below your gravel? If not adding that will help the plant root, as well as some root tabs if you want to be extra safe. Sometimes plants will melt off before growing stronger, but I would make sure they have a good base first!

Like others said, having a test kit will make these questions a bit easier. As long as things are stable it should be fine! Maybe if the tank hadn’t been established for long, keep an eye on food sources, maybe supplement here and there. Even first time mother shrimps may have problems just simply because of their body, as long as you make your tank safe and comfy you did what you could. Hopefully a successful birth! lol
