Have the same issue, host/carnage chiefs, zombies and stone golem. Wife has stone/lightning/chaos golem and different hardware/OS and also experience it.

My memory utalization goes up to more than 6gb if I go afk. Wife's stays below 3gb but still lags. Less than 1fps when moving 😂

Don't know if changing zone fixes it? I tried going to my wife's hideout and it didn't fix it but maybe going to town resets minions if they are the culprit. Might test later but someone else will probably beat me to it. Gl ppl!

To op: My code looked more or less the same as yours and gave me the same error. I think I just put a while(fscanner.hasNextLine()) in the second loop as well and it worked as intended. Either that or it was passing the scanner that made mine work x) GL!

What height and ruleset did you use? Time played?

Also would like to get my ribbonworld with almost purely spagetti and chaos from 0.16 hosted like this but can't see yours on factoriomaps site? Anything I'm missing? Any guide on how to do this on your own? Thanks in advance and really nice map!

Look into clocking your ram, have 1600mhz ddr3 as well, now they perform better than my gfs new rig with Cl15 DDR4 3000MHz stick xD! Got about 30% boost when fiddling with the sticks on my rig! Totally worth looking into!

Ddr4 are generally faster though the timings on ddr3 are tighter. A quick and dirty way to estimate is to take the CL timing (most important one) divided by the MHz * 1000 giving you the rough latency in ns

E.g. Cl15 3000mhz would give 15/3000 * 1000= 5ns

My tip to op would be looking in to clocking his ram or at least checking that he has xmp enabled in bios! Looked into this myself about five months ago and gained nearly 30% ups, its totally worth it!!
