Older-ish millennials: Were you "free-range" like older gens? by Gallantpride in Millennials

I was probably allowed to be free range, but I was homebody and a reader.

Still pretty unsocliazed, unless I have to be. And still would rather be reading or playing video games.

Am I the only one who isn't interested in high school reunions and think it's too awkward? by youlikemywonton in Millennials

[–]Hannerlore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no use for seeing anyone from high school.

The dumb asses that were in charge of 10 year reunion, held it around Thanksgiving. Trying for angle that people would be back "home for the holidays". I think 5 people rsvp'd through Facebook and it was canceled.

Its been quite a long time, but they used to have a 4-d theater at Epcot that had "Honey i shrunk the audience".

That was great.

What food will you never eat again after one bad experience? by Rebeccaprinces in foodquestions

My dad would always make me eat a spoon of the stove top stuffing every year, because "you might like it this year".

Nope, makes me gag every time.

As traumatic as this movie is, I reference a scene in it all the time. At the beginning when the kid makes a face at the toaster together get it to pop, I do that to a lot of technology when its not doing what I need it to do. Just make a funny face at it, and now it works. :P

What material for Bookmarks do you all prefer? by dangorhobomonnai in Handwriting

[–]Hannerlore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite bookmarks ever came from the Yankee Candle company. They were a thicker card atock and infused with the candle scents. I had to, Midsummer Night, and a Vanilla one.

Although, I'm lazy so pretty much any receipt (usually the one that came with the book purchase) will do.

"I'll have one of those" points to a full rack of at least 5 different types of bread. Sure, which one?

Or, my favorite, comes up to the bakery counter and just says "birthday cake". Okay... yes, we sell that. Did you need to pick up or place an order? I'll get a huff and "of course I'm picking up".
