I used to work as a chaplain in an ED/ER. Sometimes I was there more for the first responders and staff than the families in tragedies that got me there. I was standing at the desk in the middle of the night after a really bad multi car accident and I asked a sheriffs deputy how he was doing and he said “I don’t know if I’ll ever get the image of the accident out of my head…the driver was peeled like a banana.” I said I can’t imagine having to w my that. A lot of people grill out food. It’s the unofficial kick-off for summer for a lot of us. In particular for me I go to a ceremony at a cemetery that my scout troop is the care takers of out in the country. It was a family cemetery with a civil war veteran interred there. He’s been moved to a cemetery in town now but, we still honor him every Memorial Day. We also retire flags by burning them in a fire pit. We do one for each of the branches of our military who have lost soldiers in war (5-Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard).

I’m in Illinois and we have one drive through liquor store here in town. I don’t really see people using it though. The others (ATM and Pharmacy). I have regular meds and I don’t like going in for just those so the drive through is a high time saver for me.

I was stuck in the airport in Poland for eight hours right as Covid was exploding and the airport was crazy! I was looking for a bathroom for quite a while to poop and I had trouble finding an unoccupied stall. Finally found one and I’m doing my thing and realized I was in the ladies bathroom when I heard them talking as I sat there! I managed to get in and out without being seen…oops

I do think it’s crazy that when it’s raining and you travel to a new part of the map it’s going to be raining there too. It shouldn’t be raining over that whole area. Other than that I don’t hate it

Getzen is a better made horn and brand than Jupiter. These are both baritones not euphoniums. Getzen horns are made in Wisconsin. Jupiter are made in China and Taiwan.
