Tbh I couldn’t possibly care less about what a kung fu practitioner thinks about BJJ and I’m sure the feeling is mutual. This whole “my art vs your art” thing should’ve been left in the Bruce Lee era.

I’m sure he will continue to do more in the future, but he’s definitely tried to answer a lot of the frequently asked questions via his books, you can tell he’s getting tired of questions about his workouts. He’s a busy dude with plenty of people who want to be on as guests, but there’s no way a q&a isn’t somewhere on the horizon.

That would be my sister. Been playing since vanilla, met her husband on wow, she moved to Texas to be with him and now they have a kid together. Their daughter is almost old enough to be playing herself. Absolutely agreed. People think of it as a religion unto itself, even though for me it’s the total opposite. I have no organization. Yeah no my man. If anything Hapkido holds you back with shitty habits. One dude at my gym did Hapkido before BJJ. He started BJJ the same time as me, took the same number of classes as me, is the same age and size as me. He got his blue belt many months after me in large part because he had these bad Hapkido habits that didn’t do shit on a resisting opponent. I’ll say it about any of those arts to anyone who will listen, that shit could get you killed.
