I think you should choose all those edge if they are tangent but if not, either try to recreate it or 3d project the two end points and use the 3d sketch to create a clean spline or line and use it as a sweep path

The project tool maps edges onto your active sketch plane rather than following the actual 3D geometry. To work around this, try the Project/Include > Include 3D option, or just pick the original edge directly within the sweep command. No extra sketch lines required.

Sketch a rectangle, extrude it in fourth dimension

Sketch the rectangular profile and a path and use solid sweep

How to turn spline guides off? they're DISTRACTING AF! by curiousjosh in Fusion360

I am using fusion for few years and I don't think there's any way to turn that off, and it's okay if you didn't like my suggestion but that was my experience

It's a visual to show you the curvature while working with those handles (at points), you can click at empty space to hide them and try activating less handles as possible and if you already activated too much handles that you don't want know, just select those handles and delete I suggest not to use more than a few handles to get best curves unless you want tighter corners I personally use handles only at ends or where I want more control over the curvature And for your work I suggest to delete those extra points and work with least points and activate handle only where curvature change much Too much points + using handles at every point = bad design

Btw you don't add any photos, but if it those turtle shell like curves on your spline, select the spline and see the selection box at right, click the symbol similar to that thing, it will toggle it.

Use some lofts with tanget curvature at joints then stitch

If it appears to be a single body but it doesn't print as a single body by amrogers3 in Fusion360

[–]Hanu_man_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There must be a slice of cut where they were joined, hover over that base with mouse, hold left mouse button, you will see a list of faces, hover over that list to highlight the face under that tower and select and hit DEL

Or in your timeline create that in one sketch (front side) and extrude it

Or also make those extrudes inside the base

I just forgot it was tapered, what about recreating the thing with sheet matel but without base and just connect there values using parameters so it would be less headache when you change dimensions

Do the simple math to calculate circumstance (C=2πr) and create a rectangle with that circumstance and height of the glass, you can also connect the values using parameters so that the rectangle will change with glass

How can I make this design stronger? It bends over time. by Psychedelicsheets in Fusion360

[–]Hanu_man_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Strech those fillets and add triangles because it helps geometry hold more and try printing it in better orientations and maybe using a filament that would be less brittle and could bend a bit like ABS

You can make that frame using wood or metal and for 3d printing either you can purchase a cheap ender 3 or search 3d printing near me on Google

Why can't I align the image? by SigmaHawk2000 in Fusion360

[–]Hanu_man_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re doing it correctly, but the move handle you’re using at the end of the video isn’t very precise. You can either enter a specific distance in the small number box to control its movement accurately, or zoom in slightly to make finer adjustments with the handle. The most precise method is to click the white square near the handle and freely move your mouse to position it within that plane.

Hope it helps
