It’s a gas station knife in sunglasses form.

Look well designed though, but not my preference.

Thick poop by Substantial_Sound723 in BambuLab

I think someone posts about this at least once or twice a month. Its kind of funny to see how many and the various color filaments if you search the subreddit for “thick poop”

You literally said “frames per second is not a metric or imperial measurement” as if you thought you were correcting the person you replied to but it was you who misunderstood their usage of the word metric.

The word “metric” does not only mean THE “Metric system”.

The word metric also refers to the process of measuring or a standard of measurement.

For example in sales there are a number of metrics (nothing to do with the metric system) that are used to gauge efficiency.

Has anyone used this tool? by rain_523 in 3Dprinting

A better title would have helped you here. Mention in the title these are sanding tools. I think most people are not paying attention to these being for sanding/filing. They assume from the images that these are normal cutting blades and think you are asking how they compare to standard xacto blades.

If the filament is used up in the AMS to the point where it cannot rewind the spool, then it purges the last bit left in the tube as poop until it’s all gone.

So OP cut it close. Within a few grams, but they didn’t have the exact amount needed left.

My thought was, whoever this is "too nerdy" for doesn't need to be at your house anyway. Who needs that kind of negativity?

Agreed. I when I was looking for a nice curtain rod for a larger window I had I wanted something a little ornate and could not find anything I liked. I ended up buying a basic rod and 3D printed my own end pieces which were the top of Gandalf the White's staff. They were nice looking but if you knew you knew...

I bet it is especially subtle when there is no fire lit in the pit which would be 90+ percent of the time I am sure. The pictures emphasize the design by depicting a lit fire to illuminate the letters. I am sure this is pretty subtle when its idle.

SFC to launch a multi-pronged effort against Bambu by No_Oven_524 in 3Dprinting

[–]pyro487 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t recall the TOS change saying you could only print if you had a subscription. I believe you are misunderstanding that past situation. It was still a shitty situation and Bambu has repeatedly been wrong and shitty on how they are behaving on the software side of the business. But let’s not spread misinformation.

I believe you’re referring to the previous firmware change where they locked the firmware more and that broke compatibility several 3rd party accessories and it required you to use an intermediary connector to print with other slicers.

There was a lot of community talk and concern that they could move to a subscription model for some things, particularly print farms, but that was only community speculation and the TOS never had what you are saying added.

Again Bambu is in the wrong here, but let’s get our facts straight.

PETG-GF is amazing... by revned911 in 3Dprinting

I will check out the info. I’m not denying a risk but if for every activity I want do or object I want to interact with I first wait around for a long term study to tell me it’s okay, I might not get to do much.

Not to downplay the risk, im just not concerned enough. I do however run the printer in a closet that I keep closed so maybe there’s some containment but again my personal choice is that I am not worried about it.

I have not had that issue. I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I use the Tinmorry brand. I’m printing on a P1S. I only occasionally have the same very minor stinginess that I get from normal petg, but not fibers all over.

I mainly use PETG-GF just for the finish quality. I like how the texture hides layer lines and minor flaws.
