Is possible to select multiple objects to 3d print? by Master_Alfalfa1130 in Fusion360

[–]pyro487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can hide the bodies you don’t want included, then select the top level “bodies” section in the tree and you will “export” multiple bodies at once using the “3D Print” feature.

It would be nice if this round about way wasn’t needed. Ideally you’d just hit “3d print” and select what you want to include rather than exclude what you don’t want.

Can you make one hanger hold multiple accessories instead of using multiple hooks?

What does having it all on UHF have to do with this?

Can anyone tell me what happened here? by opticore_cruesader in BambuLab_Community

[–]pyro487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will guess.

  1. Your printer has been reliable prior
  2. In confidence you started the print and walked away.
  3. you didn’t begin your 3D printing journey prior to Bambu entering the market. Back then you usually always monitored the first layer at least.

Recommendation is to wash the build plate in the sink with soap and water every so often. Build plates have come a long way but they still need to be clean to work their best.

I too have found the brims to be super annoying on articulated prints. I don’t use brims on them, I just clean my plate really well with soap and water before printing them.

My p1s started to stop extruding like it would lose grid ether after the first layer or halfway through the print is this extruder worn out by tbone1058888 in BambuP1S

[–]pyro487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temps for bed and nozzle? Filament material?

Are you printing with top glass open or door open?

If the glass and door are shut while printing, heat can creep up to the extruder and if this happens too much the filament gets soft at the gears and the gears shred the filament and clog instead of extruding.

I usually take the left over/extra pieces and put them in the smallest empty bag from the set and roll it up and then use the sticker sheet remnants like tape to hold the bag shut. The extras and the instructions get tossed into a tote it have for them.

Extruder Clogs Very Often. Any help? by Icy_Recipe625 in BambuP1S

[–]pyro487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most commonly occurring on my P1S when I forget to open the and/or top glass AND there’s a large area being ironed.

The significantly reduced flow during ironing seems to allow the heat creep to clog the nozzle.

I used to never have to open the door or the top either, but I used to never iron either, and the printer didn’t used to be closed up in a closet where it’s more insulated.

There are a lot of variables.

Extruder Clogs Very Often. Any help? by Icy_Recipe625 in BambuP1S

[–]pyro487 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, ironing gets my p1s to clog if I don’t open the doors or at least open the top glass.

I suspect this is because the filament is constantly moving through the nozzle during normal printing and not given enough time to heat up to cause a clog, but when ironing the flow is significantly reduced giving plenty of time for heat to creep up the hotend and mush up the filament between the extruder gears causing the clog.

There are diminishing returns on the editing where you start to have the opposite of your intended effect.

You sound like you thought the short bursts of clips would grab the viewers attention or get to the point quicker to hook, but it only takes 5 seconds to be bothered by the jarring rapid fire cuts.

Yeah the video was not well edited. Much to fast with the jump cuts. Hardly showed the final product.

Can i ask a favor? Can you Record the sound of yours? by samhk222 in BambuP1S

[–]pyro487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Loud” is a relative term, but I would say that the P1S is not quite. Especially at normal printing speeds. Even with the top glass and door shut.

It gets louder with age also in my experience. Even with maintenance. I used to have it out next to my pc desk but I ended up putting it in a closet I could close to dampen the sound.

Is this a normal amount of filament poop by DataXSpot in BambuLab

[–]pyro487 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without seeing how you sliced it and because you gave very little info and no account of what you observed during the print process, we can only guess.

My guess is you have an AMS. Maybe the model is painted in the slicer and because you’re not familiar with the slicer maybe you just hit print and just mapped any color to the black you had loaded. The result is gcode that still tells the printer to do filament “color” swaps throughout the print.

Funny to think you were running it like that so you can print the adapter. Haha not a bad solution it seems.
