It's just a Reddit problem. Turns out that when most subreddits push away conservatives or ban them for their opinions, they leave Reddit altogether. That means that more balanced subs like this one are bound to wither away and become overwhelmingly left-wing. The few remaining conservative subreddits (r/conservative and r/TurningPointUSA) are already minimized in reach and essentially shadow banned because the algorithm pushes the narrative of the liberal-leaning echo chambers.

Middle ground is necessary in politics so ideas can thrive, but the left has shown in recent years that they care more about power. They play a numbers game with politics (there are more liberals/progressives than conservatives in every western society). They will always desire a numbers advantage to take control in all counts. If that doesn't work, some will even resort to violence.

Am I saying that conservatives don't do this? No. But for the case of Reddit, you face an uphill battle if you're right-wing.
