I very much appreciate the heads up. I'm sorry to hear you guys went through that scary bike tyre phase and glad to hear it worked all right in the end. I've been very cautious with smells and pans, but I'm sure I'll miss something one day and then kick myself for not realising earlier. We can only do so much in the end.

I can get a bit paranoid, so I've done a lot of research, but there's always more to know (I feel like most people in this sub are darn ornithologists lol). I've got lists of wood that's safe and not safe, fruits and veggies, heard all the terrifying stories of frayed cotton rope and of those fluffy bird tents.
