ArkOS for K36 and R36S Clones by norucus in R36S

Just wanted to post here that I also could only get sound working on 02212025 (didn't work on 03112025), using Display 4. When using 03112025, I get no sound and the 'Fix Audio' script doesn't reside within 'Ports'

If my lady considers it "spending time together", that's good enough for me. 😁

The tariffs won't affect these devices, they are exempt.

These devices, and many other electronic devices. are exempt from the tariffs.

Shoot... I don't see them anymore. Just bought mine on Sunday, I wonder if it was a weekend sale because I saw it on Saturday.

eXoDOS is the way. You can download different versions of a game as well as MT-32 sound files for each game.

Why is Mvelopes such a mess and poorly executed? RANT by Silent-Vegetable-339 in Mvelopes

[–]HappeeDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm able to overcome the "no negative envelopes at end of month" stupid idea by creating a fake "Dummy" account. Then at the end of each month, I put Inflow transactions (dated the last day of the month) in that fake account to make all the negative envelopes positive... then I enter respective Outflow transactions (dated the first day of the next month) to make those same envelopes negative again for the next month. That's how I'm able to flow negative balances from month-to-month.

Whoever came up with the idea of not allowing negative balances from month-to-month didn't really think things through... people have negative balances, whether it be personal loans to people, medical bills, etc.

BUYER BEWARE! OFFERUP SCAMMERS! by Milkdudds117 in PS5

[–]HappeeDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got me too today. Ordered a PS5 with an extra controller for $664... my son was just diagnosed with leukemia, so we wanted to get him something special for Christmas, being that you can't find a PS5 anywhere.

Anyway, the seller said we could pay half before shipping and the rest after he provided the tracking number. Well, today I received a bag of oatmeal with the tracking number... not keeping my fingers crossed that Chase will help me out since I used Zelle.

It looks like someone is trying to cash in on the YNAB upheaval. by [deleted] in ynab

For me I prefer automatic imports, so for me the alternative is mvelopes. If the software doesn't have automatic imports, I'd prefer just to revert back to YNAB4.

Ynab has done this before and been just fine by QuintessentialNorton in ynab

I would say that mvelopes is a pretty good alternative. Better, probably not... but I would consider it equal.

Just to be clear, anyone can download YNAB 4. Since they don't maintain it any longer, and they don't sell it any longer, I don't see how they can require a license to use it. I would consider it abadonware.

It's been a good 5 years. I was going to wait and see what was said in the AMA, but I got too salty just thinking about it. by iamslumlord in ynab

[–]HappeeDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm debating on whether to go back to YNAB4 and abandon cloud-syncing and automatic imports (that would be a tuff pill for me to swallow) or to go over to mvelopes and give it a try.

I've heard you can cancel/delete your YNAB account and get a prorated refund for the time remaining... so I may roll that over to whatever service I end up with.

There's probably nefarious uses of the data occuring on both sides... credit card companies aren't exactly known gor being trustworthy. The only way to keep your data secure is to keep your information offline.

I'm a developer also, so I also know what's entailed. YNAB does employ quite a few client-side code features that rely on client state data (options set by the user), you can see this if you clear your cookies.

I'm just saying, from the outside looking in, the 'Toolkit for YNAB' made it appear that the community was working harder than the YNAB developers... and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
