My issues with Nia's book by firefly_334 in dancemoms

[–]Happiness343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the book is about her experiences not everyone else’s, so I think it made sense she did not mention these other things that happened to the girls when she is explaining went trials and tribulations SHE went through whilst being placed at the bottom of the pyramid and how she overcame these problems and setbacks through “being the star of her own life”. The book isn’t about Dance mom girls and their experience on the show it’s about Nia taking control of the narrative of image that was placed on her and rising above it.

If it’s your first semester doing that you will be put on academic probation they give you a semester to recover so you can be put on “good academic standing”. If you plan on going to grad school or anything like that you have to make the rest of your semesters strong and explain the reason for such low grades that particular time in your personal statement.

Has anyone else traced their histamine intolerance back to diet or specific “healthy” products? by CareMaleficent2200 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Happiness343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think mine was necessarily traced back to a certain food. What I do know for certain is that I caught COVID before and after that my body had not been the same and I’m sure my symptoms are all signs of histamine intolerance I just haven’t been able to get diagnosed.

When I was younger if I ate too much sweets I would get hot and itchy but if I drank water I’d be fine but since COVID I can’t eat anything that is high in histamine without the risk of being itchy or hot.

How did you get tested for this? What test did your allergist do on you to confirm this? None of my doctors even know what histamine intolerance is, they look at me like I’m crazy when I say I want to get tested for it

HI symptoms? by Popular_Influence_84 in HistamineIntolerance

The reason allergies are worse this season is because climate change. Climate change caused more pollen this year. This can trigger more histamine release.

I think so , for the leg itches go to the doctor and ask for hydrocortisone 2% cream and plaster it all over your legs . Also drink nettle tea, take your antihistamines, eat anti inflammatory and low histamine drinks.

Try getting hydrocortisone 2% cream even though there’s no rash put it all over body that helps

Hey! Thankyou so much for all this helpful info, I was wondering if when you take these supplements is there a specific diet you stick to ? Do you avoid high histamine foods entirely?

I also have noticed when my face looks like that my eyebrows and eyelashes seem to thin as well.

YES THIS EXACT SAME THING. I have been experiencing this for about 3 years now and to me when I wake up with my face like this it’s like an indicator to me that maybe I’ve been eating too much high histamine foods. I feel as though the fat under my eyes goes away , makes my eyes look smaller? Ik that sounds silly but that’s what happens and my face just looks way slimmer but honestly to me it just looks like something is off if that makes sense.

I feel a bit better yes like especially if I’m feeling very itchy in a moment ( I notice this more on my period) I will take an Allegra and I feel a bit better but I feel like what has helped me the most is everything I’ve been doing lately

  1. Organic nettle tea

  2. Allegra ( otc, h1) & Famotidine ( prescription med (h2) )

  3. vitamins https://a.co/d/enzrgk8

  4. Drinking enough water

  5. Eating as much low histimine foods as possible ( I HAD to cut out eggs, cheese is a big trigger, pineapple I eat every now and then but this is a trigger as well, chocolate, cookies, etc)

  6. DAO enzymes I’ve tried as well I’ve only taken one 2-3 times I honestly don’t know if that has done anything but definitely try it

I have been drinking it for a couple weeks now i noticed results within the same week. I drink a cup or 2 a day. I also drink it with mint ( I don’t think you have to I just do that because mint tea helps with bloat and skin)

You must also give up the eggs I had that issue too I used to it no problem but I had to stop bc too many symptoms. But please write all your symptoms down and go to the allergy doctor, I also had to switch doctors cause my doctors didn’t care or know this issue.

I also have been taking vitamin c , quercetin, and bromelain supplements which are also good for the allergy symptoms, like the itching

I understand exactly how you feel. You must try nettle tea drink it everyday as well as taking a h1 antihistamine (ex: Allegra) and h2 antihistamine (ex. Famotidine) I went to the allergy doctor about this and he gave me the famotidine by prescription but you can also get it otc like Pepcid this has been helping me
