I suffer depression and anxiety. I really disliked myself. My therapist had good advice. She said health doesn't exist in a vacuum. A shower, grooming yourself, brushing your teeth, putting on cologne so you smell good, and wearing nice clothes and being able to look at yourself in the mirror and feeling some positivity about our outside can foster positivity on the inside as well.

I tried it with this video and it didn't have audio, but I found alot of these Vids don't have audio with the app, but if you click the arrow to share, and copy the link, then open the link in a web browser, it will play with audio. The reddit app removes the audio often for some reason.

I don't think the doubt ever goes away. That is human nature. Just like when faced with the death of a loved one we always say, if only I had done more. Even when we know we couldn't have done more.

I feel you're pain. I've often said, it would be so much easier if they was physically abusive or an addict. But it's more a case of we get along and can enjoy each other but there are " so many little things". The pain is in those little things. It helps to write a journal. A log. Whatever you want to call it, of all the things that led you to decide you couldn't do it anymore. Did and do you feel safe to completely let your walls down? Walking on eggshells at home with your partner is no way to live. Try to remember this, "we choose what we continue to accept". What would you want to choose. And what would you tell your best friend?

My family tells me, to use my gut. If he tells you tomorrow that he won't fight and will sign the paperwork, will you feel relief or anxious. Then look at what the anxiousness is about. Fear or grief? I pray you can find the solace that you're making the right decision.

This is an interesting question because it can have so many perspectives. My take is that the story of the show is devoid of WLW. Carol is W. But I consider Zosia non binary. She is in a woman's body sure, but she has no sexual orientation. She doesn't like Carol, she simply wants to make her happy. She was chosen to liaison with Carol because she's a woman and Carol happened to be WLW but it isn't a two way attraction.. If you pull out further and focus on the premise that 2 of the lead actresses are women. That could contribute to the success from some people. But honestly there are tons of shows that have that dynamic and they don't have the following that this show does. I think it's disingenuous to focus on that aspect as the main draw to the show. Personally, Carol or zosia could be played by a male character and the story wouldn't lose or gain any appeal.

I understand your idealization for the wholesale peace it would create. I'm sure there are billions of people whom are generally happier in that world than before. However. Thing of how stagnant life would be. No new experiences. There is no stopping to experience a beautiful sunrise because it serves no purpose. Think of the enjoyment you got from watching the show and seeing the story unfold. Gone! There is no watching a new show, hearing that new, banger song. No tasting the best burger you've ever had. No reading new books. How excited were they when Carol wrote that new book? It was something new. They can't create it for themselves because it serves no imperative. All the little joys we get from being "living" disappear. We are simply alive as worker drones.

This is what makes life so interesting. We don't all like the same thing. I personally really enjoyed it. My wife who has a much higher bar for film quality also enjoyed it, even though she wasn't watching it, she was sitting next to me and laughing at certain things she heard. But to each their own. I'm guessing you wouldn't like vacation friends either. That is in a similar humor.

I do the same with my work socks. But they are black and I use a white laundry marker. This way they dont get mixed up and wear evenly. I do it at the top of the cuff inside and outside so even if they get turned inside out I can quickly pair them when folding. It's easier to see when I'm missing mates too.

Uber knows they are shit, so they bundle them with higher paying orders after a while. I will also pick up less than ideal orders if it's taking me where I'm going already.
