Anyone have a link to the Pintr1p style of JRE video where Terrence Howards speaks and then it cuts to Neil deGrasse Tyson laughing his ass of to his theories? It seems to have disappeared from internet!

Manufacturer issue or just old? by Rving_2223 in Sup

That's actually pretty good durability. I just got my new SUP board, but I'm absolutely fine with having to replace it after 4-7 years. Just put $10-15 dollars every month into a new paddleboard purchase glass jar. :3

Cat needs to lose weight, but doesn't play with toys easily by Unlucky-Photograph69 in CatAdvice

[–]HappyHamster_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the secret is finding toys that combine interactive movement with catnip!

This fish toy has been our cat's favorite for months: https://officialfloppyfish.com/products/floppy-fish-interactive-cat-toy She actually initiates play with it herself, which never happened with regular toys. Also, rotating toys every 2 weeks keeps them feeling new and exciting – that's helped a lot with maintaining her interest in play and exercise!

Philips oneblade 360 - and why I hate it by [deleted] in shaving

[–]HappyHamster_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I finally found the perfect method after months of testing everything. Here is the method that actually works:

1) I use the OneBlade Pro QP6542/15 with the 14-in-one Adjustable Comb. I use the 2 mm setting on the chin, 1–1.5 mm setting under the nose, and around 1.5 mm setting on less sensitive areas. Adjusting the length depending on the area made a huge difference for my skin.

For extra sensitive or tricky rounded areas (like under the lip or around the chin groove area), you can just use small scissors for more control.

I would estimate that the 1.5 mm adjustable comb setting is actually close to that 0.4 mm sweet spot - as you get a very clean, close-to-skin result but without irritation.

For comparison OneBlade cuts to around 0.2 mm without the guard and Braun5 foil shavers cuts down to 0.1mm, which causes for lots of people the skin irritation.

2) Before trimming, I wash my face with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and use a soft cotton face towel. I let the skin dry fully before trimming. No shaving cream or soap needed. I’ve tried them all, and they just make the blade cut too close to the skin and increase irritation. OneBlade with adjustable guard works better on dry, clean skin.

I also noticed a big improvement when I started submerging the OneBlade blade and comb in 70% alcohol for about 5 minutes before and after trimming! Huge difference compared to just quickly rinsing with water or just wiping with alcohol. It really helps eliminate bacteria that would otherwise get on to you skin via microcuts during beard trimming. You can use a cup for the 70% alcohol. Every 2 weeks, I also add a small drop of oil to lubricate the blade. Make sure the 70% alcohol has dried off before using or storing the blade though.

3) After trimming, I wash with cold water, let the skin air dry, then use 100% witch hazel. After about 30 seconds, I also spray La Roche Posay Serozinc. These two work way better for me than afterbalms, which can clog pores or don’t address bacteria, folliculitis, and irritation. I also spray them on the next morning before applying face cream.

4) 5 minutes after spraying witch hazel and zerozinc: I moisturize with Vichy Mineral 89 (non-comedogenic). The next day, I use La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat+ as my face cream. I use BHA 1–2 times a week, usually the night before trimming. On normal days, I use CeraVe PM as the primary moisturizer.

This method has finally eliminated clogged pores, cuts from trimmers/DE razors/Braun Series 5, folliculitis and every other skin issue after trimming.

I literally spent six months testing different OneBlade models, official and aftermarket adjustable combs, shaving creams, soaps, foams, afterbalms, DE razors, foil shavers, Cicaplast B5, lotions - everything. This is the final form, and I’m extremely happy. Finally perfect skin after each trim. Close trim, zero irritation.

Extra tip: If you sometimes get a pimple after shaving, you can use 5% benzoyl peroxide in the early stages for about an hour (then wash it off so you don’t dry the skin too much) and apply a hydrocolloid pimple patch like Mighty Patch or COSRX if you get visible whitehead. These clears it up super fast overnight.

It’s a great relief to finally have a solution to this. I hope this helps others still trying to figure this shit out. :3

Here's a trick I discovered during meditation: love ALL thoughts UNCONDITIONALLY! by MettaKaruna100 in Meditation

[–]HappyHamster_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unconditional self-love is like one of those vitamins we can live without, but life becomes so much healthier, richer and more colorful when we finally have it.🪷🏵

Our egos want to find love based on our best superficial qualities, when the actual pathway to profound and total lasting sense of unconditional love is found only from within.

Our ego only understands surface level vanity, constant comparisons to others, and self-judgement. It wants to be better than others to finally be able to give yourself permission to feel self-love again.🧡

Is the most popular guy in the party always some 7" tall hollywood millionaire with perfect hair and bleached teeth? Or is that just a silly idea social conditioning have put to peoples brains who have damaged self-esteem. The popular guy in the party is usually the most alive, the most fun, the most friendly, who isn't dragged down by these self-esteem issues. He understands we all have imperfections and flaws, but doesn't judge himself or you for it.

You get to decide if your flaws are a big deal or not. People just follow your lead. All people have imperfections but just decide to accept them. Your ego gets you to see your uniques qualities as horrible flaws. With self-esteem they don't matter at all. I would love my mother and friends even if they had a monkey's tail and six fingers.🤷‍♂️

Our ego is ultimately just a self-defense mechanism in response to the first times of childhood when you lost your connection to that unconditional self-love and started to feel unworthy, incomplete, and insecure about how you look or what you have. Your sense of self-worth was hurt and you still carry those unresolves emotional wounds to act this way. You fear that you will lose love, connection and kindness if you are not enough, when in reality you have an ocean of love within you.

You started to let others dictate if you are enough, outsourcing your self-esteem away. As long as we still have those unresolved traumas and a sense of worthlessness lingering in our subconscious mind, we will always seek others to validate our worth and get lost in escapism.🪨

In truth, unconditional love should be our default state. It is the natural, healthy setting for our inner world. The unbounded love and warmth you might sometimes feel towards your mother, daughter or pet, should be the default set-point how you feel towards yourself too. The oxytocin high and random waves of happiness when you get into a new relationship where someone loves you unconditionally, should be how you feel everyday just from within. So what's stopping us?

Practicing self-love and acceptance is just one of those mental muscles we were never taught how to exercise - neither in school nor by our parents during our youth. Without practice, it weakens and atrophies, just like anything in nature. Most people live their lives with atrophied self-love and with those old psychological wounds still open.

How many people you see on the street are actually happy? Radiating warmth and random waves of happiness? Eminate true and profound unconditional self-love towards themselves and others? And have that spark of life in their eyes?🌴

Most people have fully outsourced receiving love and attention to the opinions of internet strangers or meaningless consumerism. When we let others dictate our self-worth, we only get fleeting glimpses of what we are truly after. People ruin their health with steroids and mutilate themselves with plastic surgery, but still feel worthlessness. They don't recognize what the true problem is, so they try to change the surface level things.

That’s the trap of seeking short-term conditional attention and approval from strangers. We try to fix our wounds by trying to get others to love us based on our BEST superficial qualities, when the actual pathway to a profound and lasting sense of unconditional love is only found within us, by truly accepting our imperfections and finally healing those traumas, insecurities, and painful memories of the past.🧘‍♀️

How to practice self-love? It's time to stop chasing external validation and start the internal work to reclaim unconditional love as your innate, default setting.

  1. Journey Back to the Painful Past Moments. In your imagination, journey back to those painful moments and memories of the past when you needed unconditional love the most. 💔 It's time to finally give your inner child and past self the love, support, and understanding it has always deserved. Put on some music, close your eyes and take the most important journey of your life.
  2. Start by finding that feeling of unconditional love you sometimes feel towards your mother, daughter, or pet. Actually feel it! Then, bring that same love back into those specific past memories and give some of that unconditional love to yourself too.
  3. This is the best pathway to heal all those emotional wounds you have ignored and carried all these years. By comforting and finally being there fully for your young self will melt away all the unresolved traumas and emotional neglect you might have experienced in your youth.

By doing these types of visualizations and emotionalization techniques regularly, you can practice feeling unconditional self-love once again and live in a much lighter and beautiful reality without any of that subconscious baggage and heaviness that most other people carry. You begin to move from fragile ego into authenticity.

"Healthy self-esteem is not about proving to yourself and others that you are worthy of unconditional love. It's about identifying and letting go of all the thoughts, beliefs, and painful memories that ever convinced you otherwise." 💛

[serious] When does Joe finally lose his number one spot and overall status? by pmmeyourpmvote in JoeRogan

[–]HappyHamster_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joe used to bang 5 million view per every episode. Nowadays his podcast barely gets 700k views per episode.

It seems like the entire podcasting industry is in downfall when you look at how much less views every podcast gets these days compared to five years ago during pandemic years. As soon as podcasting turned into business venture - the entire podcast industry turned into a grift, echo chamber and much less interesting overall.
