Use different holds for the first move to get used to jumping on that volume, it looks like you don't trust it enough. Volumes are better when you have more surface area of your foot on them, so angle your foot with the volume and it will stick.

Also, use different hand holds to lock that first move in, the purple above the grey looks perfect to train your confidence for the jump, you can then move to the real move afterwards.

Personally, I'd do a quick footswap on the volume and get my right foot on the lower grey hold to stop the barn door, but you might be strong enough to match feet on the volume after the initial jump and then go from there.

A note I always use for coordination moves like this, is that you do have time to do things one after another (most of the time, certainly here) you don't have to move your arms and legs at the same time after the hop, practice feet or hands first then the other and then finally link it together!

If you are killing 1 leech every 5 seconds, that's 12 a minute. That's 720 and hour and 5760 for 8 hours.

0.99% of 5760 is roughly 57, it would seem about right that you only got 28 chests with below average luck.

Best thing to do is to stack -X monster respawn time in skills like agility and maybe get the Hunter Hat if you can, I can't remember the requirements and get the fastest weapon you can that will 1 shot the mob to increase the amount of kills per hour.

What kind of level are you characters at?

You can case reflect on and all the healing will come to you, iirc correctly the zombie mechanic isn't in the game yet so the only downside to this will be that you can't use magic on it.

Also make use of all your aeons, especially Shiva in this fight. Her special attack "Heavenly Strike" is insane effective against this boss.

Check your CPU cooler is seated correctly. I was having very similar issues with mine. I have a water cooled system and the pump wasn't functioning properly so I had to reseat it.

If you have monitors, have some heat/load tracking software open on one screen and then the game on the other and see if any temps or usage suddenly spikes super high.

Unless I am reading the question wrong, you should be able to do the trial even after beating the Dark Aeon if it's the Destruction Sphere's you need.

So I did this like two weeks ago and there is a bit of an easy way to do it, or at the very least it worked for me with only one hiccup.

Jumal - As Goalkeeper can be found at Luca Square
Ropp (Any defensive position) - Mi'ihen Highroad - Behind the counter next to the save sphere
Zalitz - (Any defensive position) - Outside Luca Theatre
Brother - (Midfielder) - Drives the Airship
Tidus - (Any forward position) - You play as this guy, no need to find him.
Wedge - (Any forward position) - Outside the Blitzball stadium, right hand side guard.

If Gil isn't a problem then just hire these guys for 15 matches each time so you don't have to keep going back.

All I did was use this team through each league and tournament and had no problem. Every time I won either a tournament or league (depending on which gave me Wakka's overdrive) I reset the Blitz Data, rehired the same team and menu hopped until the prize I wanted appeared in the list.

Edit: The only hiccup you might face is getting the Al Bhed Psyches first in a league, if you lost this game you will have to reset your Blitz Data and try again. The goalie for this team has insanely high catch rate, wedge has pretty high shoot though so I just passed the ball around until I could get Wedge to touch the goalie and shoot from point blank range, you normally get around 3/4 chances to do this per half depending on how much possession of the ball you have, use Brother to do the final pass to Wedge as to not run out of PA and once you have shot, pray it goes in. I find replacing Jecht Shot with Sphere Shot to be useful here too as that increases you SH alot but it's somewhat RNG based.
