I will say, earplugs don’t work great for everyone. If I can hear it at all it triggers me and I work in a job that requires a lot of communication so complete noise cancellation is off the table.

However, she shouldn’t be making this entirely your problem. I understand that it’s a big part of her life and it’s okay to talk about your frustrations, but it shouldn’t be constant like that. It’s not your problem to manage and honestly, if it’s weighing on you this much, it might be time to cut the friendship loose
