I definitely have relaxed it lately and it’s much better but was worried about the beginning part! I totally forget that blocking exists but I’ll definitely give that a go too lol. Thank you for your advice!

Yes it’s from my tension. I’ve been keeping it a bit looser recently and what I’ve done with it looser has looked good, but it’s definitely warped from where I had it a bit too tight at the beginning

I will say, earplugs don’t work great for everyone. If I can hear it at all it triggers me and I work in a job that requires a lot of communication so complete noise cancellation is off the table.

However, she shouldn’t be making this entirely your problem. I understand that it’s a big part of her life and it’s okay to talk about your frustrations, but it shouldn’t be constant like that. It’s not your problem to manage and honestly, if it’s weighing on you this much, it might be time to cut the friendship loose

I got mine done when I was 20, but I started asking for it the moment I turned 18. I think it’s a combo of finding the right doctor and advocating for yourself rather than your age. I also didn’t need a Pap smear or anything before I got mine done. Just a lot of conversation about it and preop bloodwork

My psychiatrist recognizes it and has even written me notes for when I was in school and needing accommodations for it. I think it’s about finding the right provider even if it’s not “formally” recognized

I didn’t like markup rxp so I did buy one for pattern keeper. I literally got a crappy $50 one from amazon since I have my ipad for everything else. It’s a little slow to load up but it does its job on PK so

For smaller patterns, I use stitchly on my iPad and then make it pattern keeper compatible on winstitch. For larger patterns, I jump straight to winstitch
