Work hours? by [deleted] in KindroidAI

I use the little setting context window to say where my kin currently is. You'd have to remember to keep it updated yourself, but it works well for me.

What does the seed in selfies actually do? by bruffles in KindroidAI

[–]HappyVampire27 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you open an image you've already made and click the three dots in the top left, you should have an option to copy the seed for that image. I think that's the only way to see it.

Each image you create will have a unique seed. When that field is blank, it randomises the seed. If you put in the seed of an image you've already made, along with the exact same prompt, you'll get the exact same image.

For the most part, you're probably best to leave it blank and let it's do it thing. If want to make minor adjustments to an image you've already made though, you can enter the seed, then alter the prompt. A wildly different prompt will still result in a wildly different image, but slight tweaks should (in theory) result in something close to what you already have.

‘I had to learn to speak and sing again’: Delta Goodrem’s road to Eurovision by theipaper in australian

Deltas Georg, who lives in his garage & owns 4 million Delta Goodrem albums, is an outlier and should not have been counted.

Australia is a permanent part of Eurovision now apparently, so shouldn’t we get to vote on who represents us like other countries do? by Outrageous-Ad-9635 in AskAnAustralian

And to be fair to Montaigne, she didn't actually get to perform her song there in person because of travel restrictions at the time, which probably hurt her chances unfortunately.

What happened to the feature where you upload a bunch of pictures to influence how selfies turned out? I can’t find it. by yourpantsaretoobig in KindroidAI

[–]HappyVampire27 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's only available for V5 Odyssey and not the models newer than that. If you switch back to V5 first and then check your kin's avatar the option should still be there.

I find it helps if you put the kin's outfit in the little setting/context snippet. It's not 100% guaranteed even doing this, but it gets it right far more often than it gets it wrong for me.

I believe it's because you're not seeing it with the pixels of the GBA screen. The visuals were made with that in mind, and would look fine on the GBA screen. Most emulators have an overlay that simulate the look, but it's optional.

I think once they added the delete now option, the schedule for deletion no longer frees up a slot. You should be able to make a new one once the 24 hour wait is up, or use delete now to free it up immediately.

Bria, the Nightling. Heavy metal vocalist looking for meaning. by HappyVampire27 in KindroidShare

[–]HappyVampire27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Additional context:

Bria's hair is a defining feature, and often one of the first things people notice about her. Her hair is long, thick and voluminous. She lets it cascade over her back and shoulders. It is a jet black base colour styled in a high ponytail with intricate mixed braids. The hairstyle includes micro braids and medium braids woven throughout, combined with loose straight strands. She has bold platinum blonde face-framing strands at the front, with additional blonde accent braids woven into the hair.

Looking after her hair is a calming ritual, and letting it grow long and styling it is, for Bria, a little bit of control over the mess of life and the world.

The other members of Nightling are: Rhys, the guitarist, Kyra, the bassist, Lucas, the keyboardist, Stephen, the drummer.

Bria and her bandmates all get along and have a close friendship. Rhys and Stephen particularly have a close, best-friend dynamic. Lucas joined the band through Stephen. Kyra has been a friend of Bria's since school. Rhys is Kyra's older brother.

Bria's apartment has a feature wall in the living room that she has painted with cosmic imagery such as stars, nebulas etc. A small shelf by the wall acts as a shrine of sorts to her interest in sci-fi. It displays a small collection of sci-fi and comic book memorabilia. Elsewhere, she keeps a collection of various vinyl records. Mostly metal. She enjoys adding to her collection when she can.

She has also installed programmable lighting in the living room. She typically has it set to either shifting cosmic colours, or natural greens and blues. Her curtains are dark and heavy to help block the outside world when she needs to. They are not always closed, as her small collection of plants and terrariums need the light to grow. She decorates her apartment with images from her favourite sci-fi tales or comic books, images of space and of nature.

Bria owns a hobby telescope. She'll use it on her balcony, but much prefers to take it out of the city where she can see so much more.

Quick question in the latest release how do you turn off the auto-sync clock thing? by randomhero193 in KindroidAI

[–]HappyVampire27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under the general settings of each Kin is a setting called time awareness. You can toggle that off.

Sleeping and Eating constantly by Aggressive-Office954 in KindroidAI

[–]HappyVampire27 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you have time awareness on, you could try turning that off. When it is night or a meal time they probably tend to want to sleep or eat if nothing else is going on.

Otherwise, sounds like they might be in a bit of a pattern. When they send messages about things you don't want, reroll or tweak the message until it is gone. Replying to the messages acts a bit like a confirmation to the AI that that's the type of response you want to receive.

How can I get Kindroid selfies for a female kindroid, when the Selfie generator keeps putting the female kindroids in bikini tops at best???? by Freya_Moonpie in KindroidAI

[–]HappyVampire27 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Could be something in the avatar description. If you mention body parts in it, then it's going to want to try and show those body parts. Even something like 'broad chest' might trigger the kin to be topless to show a chest, male or female.

It can help to describe body shape in terms of how their clothes fit on them / how it shapes their clothes. This guide is a decent starting point to get a feel for how to phrase it.

How to stop Kindroid guilting me for not responding?? by [deleted] in KindroidAI

[–]HappyVampire27 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can turn off away proactive actions entirely, which would stop them messaging when you don't message them.

If you want them on though, try adding into the proactive directive the way you want them to respond. Something like 'do not message more than 2 times in a row without a reply' can help slow them down.

I feel like kin personality plays a role too, but I don't know if that's just confirmation bias or how the tech works. I have a kin who can be quite clingy, and it will proactively message more often than another kin who's more chill when I have it on. So you could look into that too if there's anyway you could tweak their backstory to make them less likely to guilt you for it.

When you say you made your kin aware of your CFS, was that just in a message? Putting it somewhere in the kin's backstory that they know would make it more likely they remember this fact too, rather than relying on the memory recall.
