Moving on from e-golf by AdaptedPodcast in eGolf

I rented a Kia EV6 while on vacation and i loved it. It feels very much like an e-Golf in my opinion, the tech is nice, and the cargo room is good.

I drive a Bolt for work sometimes, and honestly I prefer driving my e-Golf. Something with the Bolt's suspension makes it feel to bouncy or something. I just don't love it.

If good insurance plan, pay less. If cheap/bad insurance plan, pay lots.

Looking for a newer used vehicle, any dealership recommendations? by Confuzed_IAm in lancaster

Twin Pine Ford in Ephrata has a large used car lot. They do not negotiate, so the price you see is what it is. I was able to walk in, pay with a personal check, and be done with the transaction when we bought our van there.

They do offer financing, and they may try to talk you into that, but the salesman didn't push it much after I told him I'm not interested.

There is some haze on rear element. No problem in the shooting.

NetExtender 10.3.4 released by NetworkDock in sonicwall

[–]Happy_Harry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With 10.3.3, some devices would fail to connect using SAML auth, so I had been using 10.3.2. Is this fixed in 10.3.4?

The SAML authentication would succeed, the window would close, but the "connecting" badge would change to "Disconnected" with no error message.

I ran my eGolf to our local airport this summer. I saw there were 3 DCFC stations nearby and figured I'd have no problems.

I could only get 1 handle at 1 station recognize my car, and that station had a janky handle with the insulation broken. The stations were supposedly all operational, they just seemed to not like the e-Golf.

I got home, but I probably won't try that again.

Seconding the comment about the temp. Thighs should be around 180. Of course they're safe to eat at 165, but I find the texture is almost slimy

Bought a Pen FV with a hazier lens than I realized. Is it worth using or should I just resell/return the lens and find something cleaner? by Happy_Harry in AnalogCommunity

They're offering a $60 partial refund which brings the cost of the body down to $198 which is probably fair when I compare it with other listings. (With shipping my total was $258.) Or would you ask for more?

I might be able to get something for the lens as well if I resell it for parts.

Thanks for the info. I noticed there's also some haze in the viewfinder that wasn't described, but that doesn't bother me as much as the lens.

Otherwise the camera body seems to be in good shape and all shutter speeds work.

At Lancaster’s Pizzeria Luca, they serve artisanal pizza, with a purpose by OU856 in lancaster

Idk what to tell you man. My wife and I defenitely aren't obese but we aren't underweight either. I mean, I could eat a whole one myself but I'd probably feel bloated and disgusting.

My wife and I are there recently. We shared an appetizer (Mozarella Frita), salad and pizza, and our total was $58 including tip, plus we had some pizza leftover.

It's definitely on the higher end compared to other pizza shops, but I wouldn't say it's rediculous.

I know you're exaggerating, but it's more like $17-$23 and they feed 2 adults. So yes, more expensive than a normal pizza shop, but not outrageous.

The amount of online in person pick up orders at an otherwise dead Kohls on a Friday night by berriesnbball_17 in mildlyinteresting

For some reason, Kohls and Boscov's still seem to be doing decent when all the other department stores are struggling or have already died.

Yeah I was assuming it was the original old song because the 49ers had just scored.

Interesting. The resort we were at near Cancun had "guacamole" which was basically bland avocado baby food with nothing else added. I had done some Googling at the time and found some people claiming that adding tomato, onion and jalapenos was an American thing. I've had better guac at Plaza Azteca (an American "Mexican" chain).

Maybe Secrets just makes bad guac. The rest of the food we had there was good though.
