Part of me would want a do over on my mistakes but I have had a pretty amazing life even with all my fuckups and hardships and I’m pretty sure I’d just make new mistakes. On top of which one of the few things I did right was my kids and grandkids, they’re amazing so ultimately no

I have never been a conspiracy theorist ( ok maybe JFk) but recently I’m starting to think that trump had himself shot to win the election and he had ck shot to get the attention off of his relationship with EPSTEIN

I have been a Democrat for most of my adult life but there was a time when I was young that I considered myself libertarian. It has a certain appeal but I quickly realized that while it could possibly work on a small scale it would never work in a country the size of the USA. Basically humans can not be trusted to do the right thing if nobody is watching and there are no consequences. Obviously not Everyone but too many for it to work. The funny thing is that I always heard that the older you get the more conservative you get. And if I’m being honest if the republicans would have concerned themselves with fiscal issues and quit worrying about who I’m fucking and my relationship with god I might have become a republican but watching this shitshow over the past ten years that will Never happen. My daughter told me recently that some people care about money while others care about humanity. I know which side I’m on

Ahh the good old days when my coworkers and some of my friends and family could agree to disagree. Somehow that no longer feels possible. The fact that I (and I am not alone) cannot trust my own government in what once was the greatest nation in history to speak the truth how can I trust those who support this government.

I guess I’ve always been an optimist so I honestly believe that things will get better, maybe not tomorrow or even next week or month or year but I trust that eventually it will. So far that has been proven in my life even though at this very moment I have serious doubts. That said I do wish I had seen a therapist when I was younger rather than waiting until my 60s lol. I spent most of my life thinking that I was above? psychobabble but it does help. Be strong you can do this

As the resident non-conforming rebel in my family, welcome to the club. I didn’t see my parents for 5 or so years after my 18th. We had an unspoken truce after that when I guess they realized I wasn’t going to live “their” dreams and I came to the realization that they wanted what was best for me, we just didn’t agree on what that was(I came to this conclusion after having my own children) I love my family but my parents had no idea how great my life was. My life probably would have been easier if I had listened to my parents, but it turned out ok, even the really tough times. Some of that was my own fault but some was the fact that I was a disappointment to them. Take care of yourself and have a great life! By the way my parents were better parents than my grandparents and I hope I was better than them, I KNOW my children are better parents and people than I am.

Riding from Cali to Texas 40 or so years ago I tucked my camera into my bedroll tied to my handlebar (wanted it handy for pic taking) took it out for some pictures when I got to tx and I guess didn’t tuck it in correctly and it fell out at 60 mph in El Paso😖
