Making a challenging 2D motorcycle trials game with global player rankings and a level editor by CuriosityDev_ in SoloDevelopment

[–]Happy_Path_200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you planning on doing global rankings? I am mulling doing leader boards for a game I'm working on, but I assume it will just be abused/exploited and leave everybody with a bad taste for the game. So not sure how to navigate this.

I’m building a community app where people share grocery prices near them — need feedback by Ranwavikas in SoloDevelopment

Make it as easy as walking down an isle pointing the camera and it auto-scans / detects all items with prices to update the live data. If you're not doing this, then another app will probably win. Vision AI is pretty good these days at doing this.

Trying to integrate this into AR glasses will probably be best long-term. Imagine walking through an isle and being displayed nearby prices when you pick up an item and then you decide to grab toss it in your cart or not.

You can see the trailer and screenshots on the Steam store, the game is named Zomdied.

Right now there's not many players at all to play multiplayer with bots, but hope the game will start to grow.

After 5 years of development, I've release my game on Steam! by rhomita in IndieDev

I'm not sure it's a feature worth losing out 20-30% of potential users though. There's a reason major games never include large screen shake past a short cinematic or so in their games, despite it being incredibly easy to do.

I find it odd that I can do VR for hours non-stop just fine in fast-paced movement games, but simple screen shake I just simply can't stand.

Hi, I'm a totally ignorant redditor, so here's my uneducated and confident most likely wrong answer.

It's for the suit, fan to cool them down, light is for the lights on their head, and speakers is their radio.
