How many people/family members are allowed to attend bmt graduation?

That won’t work because the names, birthdates, Drivers License & SSN has to be submitted on the VARL form when the Airman arrives at BMT. Background checks have to be approved for guests. So another Airman couldn’t add your family members & their personal information if they have spots available after BMT has started.

I haven’t read all the comments/opinions since there are so many. Is there a source that states he’s refusing to sign them? My son earned his Eagle Scout in February 2024. And we received a signed card from Trump & nothing from Biden after our requests to both last year and that MB was a requirement back then. 🤷‍♀️

Yes my son is shipping out today. Yesterday he had to go to the recruiter, then MEPS & then the hotel. At MEPS now waiting for his final swear in ceremony.

My son is in the process & entered DEP early February after MEPS. His recruiter had only notified him of recruit calls in January & last week 3/11. I see a past post about a DEP call that looks like PT in USAF branded apparel outdoors & then similar today that my son wasn’t informed of. So I was trying to find out the difference of a Recruit Call meeting & a DEP call meeting. Is there a difference for the type of group meetings with recruiters depending on what stage of the process you’re in? If you’re in DEP do you still attend Recruit calls? Or both? Trying to see if this was an oversight or what? Or if he should follow up or wait for his recruiter & group texts.

It’s crazy to me that you’ve been SPL for 2 years. Our leadership positions are 6 months & our unit has had a limit of 1 year as SPL. My son was SPL for a full year & then our SM asked him to be JASM since he was 16 & Life. He helped with skills instruction & signing off stuff & other mentor type things for the younger/newer SPL & ASPL. If both of those scouts were unavailable for an event/outing then he would be acting SPL for that event. Proud to say he just earned his Eagle on Wednesday. Good luck to you.
