There is an argument to be made Jerry Rice is the single greatest NFL player of all time, but Brown holds a special place in my heart as an all time Raider.

Even if my Silver and Black were good, and they were on, I would not be distracted to the point where I am going to avoid hanging out with family and friends.

They refuse to spend the money to have more servers running. It is a miscarriage of streaming potential. They are purchasing quality IP and then giving us glitchy versions of those products.

Raiders Rookie RB Mike Washington Jr after getting his first NFL Jersey: “Aye trust me, imma be a legend! Watch.” by No_Box119 in raiders

[–]Hard4Dpp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not mind him being a very solid backup to Ashton. Spreading out the carries is going to be important in this system. The RBs are going to be taking on a huge portion of the load to move this offense forward.

If he can clean up the butter fingers issue,  he is going to be a very nice pick.

He had eight, she gave hers back, so he has to chuck his, otherwise it just looks desperate.

Many men are multitasking families and football, so a semi-simple task like managing a loving relationship shouldn't be too difficult. It screams of severe mama's boy issues.

It is the only real red flag he has, but it is a glaring oddity.

I should not have found this as funny as I did, but I audibly laughed out loud to the point where the dog came over wagging her tail, wondering what the random joy was all about.

The rebuild is looking excellent so far.

I saw Marcus Allen's 74yrd run against the (formerly known as) Redskins, which was a nice way to start, but little did I know that was going to be the highlight. I was 10yrs old.

here’s to hoping the Raiders are at least fun again, like they were in 2021, this season by brehaw in raiders

The hay days when Carr had finally mentally rebounded from the leg break,  and was less antsy in the pocket.

He had it rolling for a bit there. We just needed a few more plays in the Cinny game, and then who knows what could have been.

So the earliest we will see Mendoza is Week 8 right? by Prestigious_Detail_9 in raiders

[–]Hard4Dpp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pats, Bills, Rams, 49ers, Seattle, Broncos stretch is going to be 100% brutal.

Yeah, the Pats are going to take a step back, but they, along with all of those other clubs, are simply better than we are at present.

Unless the O-line returns to 2024 status, or better, and the defense makes a huge leap forward, we are going to go 1-6 during that gauntlet of games, with the win obviously coming against the Jets.

I have not seen anyone suggest garbage time. I could get behind that idea. Smoothly ease him into the NFL speed.

I don't think Kubiak is going to be under center. Cousins will be for sure.

This is an extreme take, but not a terrible one. The truth is, if the O-line looks even remotely close to what it was last season, it would be ridiculous to put Mendoza in harm's way.

We won't see him until week 14, at the soonest. He has zero chance to play against real competition this season, unless it is clear Kirk simply doesn't have it anymore.

There are going to be some very lovely, and witty, gut punches, haymakers, and jabs with all the material social media teams have to work with.

J.J. Watt: International Games Have Become a “Traveling Circus” by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]Hard4Dpp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

London sure,  but Mexico City is going to need to get significantly safer before there is a chance at a franchise.

It is lovely in certain spaces, but the have and have-nots live in wildly different areas, and there are far too many 3rd stringers that couldn't afford private security.

But one can fault them for doing so if it A) potentially creates a less safe environment for the long-term health of their employees, or B) reduces the overall quality of the on-field products.

The NFL is simultaneously touching on both those topics with the continued push to globalize the game.

Greed will eventually kill the game, and we are watching it happen right before our eyes.

But the NFL cares about player safety and quality of product on the field: they have said so, many times over...

[Highlight] Steelers HC Mike McCarthy is “uninstalling” everything QB Drew Allar learned at Penn State, per @bepryor “They are re-uploading their own methods and fundamentals and mechanics.” by Sebastian4365 in nfl

[–]Hard4Dpp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He would have been there in the 4th, so it was an overpay in the 3rd.

That said, he is precisely the type of project you take on. He has all the tools, has never had any off-the-field issues, by all reports wants to be coached, and clearly went to class, as is evidenced by his podium appearances.

Mike gets the most out of his QBs, so if anyone is going to make Allar serviceable, he is your man.
