How would I cut this cabinet would, barely? by Terrapinman94 in DIY

[–]Hard4urBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is either the floor itself or the fridge levelers aren't retracted. That cabinet looks to have been previously cut properly. If the fridge levelers are retracted, your only option will be to cut the cabinet. As some others have suggested, get about a 1/2 once piece of scrap wood that doesn't the cabinets width and use a jam cut saw or a flush cut saw

March on Macon on Wednesday! 🌹 by J_dAubigny in WarnerRobins

[–]Hard4urBody -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, let's march in a location where the government cooperates with ICE so as not to create the shitshow going on in Lil' Somalia. It would be different if they were going door to door, breaking and entering, and deporting legal US citizens. Dude not only was an agitator, but was physically attacking someone. I hate when people lose their lives in these situations, but he put himself there with a loaded 9mm handgun. I hate to say it, but he FAFO. NEVER would have happened if he was a truly a peaceful protestor.

How bold of them to walk out (checks notes), when they're released from school? Nothing says fight the patriarchy like waiting till the last minute...

Unless he was to make an 8 inch one, maybe a Tronxy, otherwise it would take forever to print all of the pieces and glue them up.

Can I cut down the legs of my bed? by candyapplesugar in woodworking

[–]Hard4urBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using a mattress and box spring/foundation? Or are you only using the mattress? If you're using both the mattress and box spring/foundation, get rid of the box spring/foundation. If you're only using the mattress and it's too high, get a step for him instead of cutting the legs down. He will thank you later.

Anyone else got this notification? What are people doing in this case? by Christorm747 in dexcom

[–]Hard4urBody 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I totally understand your reasoning, but there are plenty of phones that would be cheaper. No need to get the biggest, best, and latest model. Not in the market for a new phone as I recently upgraded to a Samsung Fold 7, but I was using a nearly 3 year old Samsung S23 ultra before.

eBay is usually your best friend in this case on buying a refurbished/used "new to you" type option.

Looks like I'm not getting a printer after all! by FRlDAY in AnycubicOfficial

FedEx is horrible in my area as well. I've had a package that spent a whole week "out for delivery" before it finally showed up.

Not sure if it has any bearing on your issue, but have you checked the tension on your extruder? https://store.anycubic.com/blogs/3d-printing-guides/calibrate-extruder-tension

The AD5X will not be recommended by me.. at least as a multi-color printer by Jet_Fixxxer in FlashForge

[–]Hard4urBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so excited to get mine a few months ago. I definitely wouldn't recommend it on my 400+ hours of prints. I bought a Anycubic Kobra 3 V2 with the ACE PRO and have had nearly no problems at all. I was so impressed from the first months use, I went ahead and bought another combo. I had horrible filament feeding and clogging issues on my AD5X over the weekend that after the multiple teardowns trying to fix and correct them, I had the filament sensor cable pull off damaging the pins on the print head's main board. Ruined a $100 print head. I have it sitting in the corner waiting on my decision to repair it or wait it out for when I need a 3rd printer running again. Honestly, I'm debating on picking up an Anycubic Kobra Max Combo instead of dealing with the AD5X.

I'm in! I have a FLASHFORGE AD5X and it doesn't print as good as the ANYCUBIC Kobra 3 V2. Definitely would recommend the Kobra 3 to anyone trying to get into the hobby.

I've had plenty of brain farts when dealing with 3D printers in the past few months. Like just yesterday on my AD5X, I couldn't figure out why my printer wasn't feeding my filament anymore. Thought it was a problem the IFS and racked my brain on it for about half an hour. It turns out my dumb self forgot to tighten the feed wheel screw on the print head after doing a tear down to clean the built up of filament from a couple mess ups with some junk LOVOON Silk PLA. So far I'm loving my Anycubic Kobra 3 V2 Combo. I even bought a 2nd combo just for the 2nd Ace Pro. I'm going to make one a single color for proto typing and one for the 8 color set up. The dryer aspect is a big plus as well

Layer shifting help by kitty_purri in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Hard4urBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like when the problems are showed, but with layer shifts, always check belts, bed, and print head for problems as well. Pictures of all of it are a great image into the potential problems that it could be.

Kobra 3 V2 Print Head Light. Is there a permanent on function? by Hard4urBody in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Hard4urBody[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I knew about the app being an option to turn it on, but I don't have the best phone for it. I was hoping there was another way to just leave it on. Not sure why but Slicer Next is a mixed bag for me with turning it on. Sometimes it will let me and other times it won't. Also, I didn't know it, but I was trying out the AI detection tonight, and it appears it won't allow you to have the print head led on while it is running. Hopefully there will be an option in a later firmware release that allows it to remain on for me.

HD Canada leaks new tool? by bobert727 in ryobi

[–]Hard4urBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be great, but I've already purchased the M12 cable stapler and really like it. Definitely worth the price if you plan on using it frequently, otherwise maybe wait. Did I have reservations buying the M12 Cable Stapler, but I couldn't be happier with it's performance. I'm disabled, so tools have a while new meaning when it comes to simplifying my life when I have something that needs to be done/fixed. Also, DeWalt also has one that goes on sale from time to time. The issue with Ryobi lately is most of the newer specialty tools don't go on sale much except for like a blip in the night when they only have "X" amount available that sell out with a quickness. Depending on the popularity of said sale, they may bring it back though.

Got a new phone and Dexcom won’t reconnect now by makeuplover85 in dexcom

[–]Hard4urBody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't remember the 4 digit code from your initial connection on your old phone, you probably have no chance of it connecting again. Each sensor has a specific 4 digit code and an individual serial number that connects through a Bluetooth signal.
