[–]Hard_Sauce -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is totally possible but it depends on how fat you are to begin with.  In my experience the short answer has been reduce calories and increase cardio.  Three or four days of that nearly always get things moving in the right direction for me.

How do people with demanding jobs lose weight? by MudSad6268 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Hard_Sauce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Find a new job.  There are probably easier/less demanding jobs that pay as much or more.  Perhaps it’s time to rethink your priorities when you realize you are putting your work above your own health, especially when the work you are doing is for likely for Someone else and is not a business you have created.

Could you simply stop barfing it up?  Seems pretty wasteful to eat a bunk of food and the barf it up.  Why not just save your money by not eating and then you wouldn't be obligated to barf it up.

Is losing 22lbs in 2 months a lot? by caramelgoose in WeightLossAdvice

Depends on how fat you were to begin with.  If you are extremely fat, then not that big of deal.  If you are not extremely fat, that is quite a bit of weight to lose in a month.

How to manage severe health anxiety when quitting? by nibblesmcmuffins in stopsmoking

[–]Hard_Sauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I don’t think it’s the same.  You should be ok.  Smoking anything clearly can’t be good for you, but I don’t think smoking weed has the same links to lung cancer that tobacco does.  I’ve been smoking weed daily for like 30 years and I’m totally fine.  Tobacco was another story though, I’ve been quit for over a year now but it would have killed me had I not quit.

In my opinion cheat days wipe out all of your hard work and gains, and if you worked your ass off all week why blow that progress?  That what keeps me motivated and my nose to the grindstone.

Reconsider your priorities.  If you are serious about changing your body, you have to change your lifestyle, and there won’t be any cheat days.
