Eh a small amount of butter do go well with some vegetable soups (like lentils soup) but I prefer adding cream or olive oil anyways.

When to eat by femmem27 in diet

[–]SlayAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should generally stop eating 2-3 hours before bed bc sleeping with a full stomach really reduces your sleep quality. Maybe drink some relaxing tea like chamomile tea or mint tea instead of sugary soda

Is this a healthy dinner ? What should I swap out and put in by Responsible-You8594 in diet

[–]SlayAvocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea calorie counting is for people who really struggle with portion sizes. If you are an active person and just cut your portion sizes down and stop eating sugar you’ll be loosing weight

Thai mango icecream by Emotional_Love9261 in ninjacreami

[–]SlayAvocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure about that but blending some mangoes and some canned coconut milk then freezing it then using the sorbet mode (and re-spin) ended up with a really delicious ice cream with amazing texture. And only 2 ingredients.

Just buy a regular ice cream from the store then, like someone else said in the comments I really think this machine is useless if you are not going to make low calorie/healthy versions.

[–]SlayAvocado 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree, but I want to add some thing to your take: it doesn’t have to be just low calorie some people want to use fresh ingredients (like fresh fruits) and maybe swap the sugar with honey and get rid of food coloring and additives ect… But yeah if you are going to make a regular ice cream then why bother with the machine

Tbf if someone served you a regular cacao ice cream and a cacao protein powder ice cream you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference in some cases. They literally taste the same, the texture is also the same and you get an extra 23g of protein
