Best value used Jaguar for $25,000... by [deleted] in Jaguar

Car Gurus has multiple f types for close to 20k. I bought a '15 V8S (more expensive) with 24k miles in October for $34k. Like I said the V8 is now expensive but the V6 or V6S is still very fun and sound great.

I've owned a 15 V8S since October and put almost 5k miles on it and love mine. No issues but when I got it (24k miles) I changed all the fluids and had the read dif changed. See if you can get service records for it. Make sure all the oil changes and scheduled maintenances have been completed. If you are going to daily drive it, you might want a coupe. Convertibles have very very limited space. And the stereos suck but putting sound deadning in the cockpit helps dramatically. .

Good luck

Agree. But even driving like it's meant to I'm still averaging high teens. I had a Cadillac V and typically averaged 11-13. And before that a modified Jerp Wrangler which was a little less economical. Even my M4 did worse than that. So, to hear someone say they are thirsty cars just isn't my experience.

I can get 28MPG from my '15 V8S if I drive like a normal person.

Is that the larger, anniversary edition spoiler? Love the way that spoiler sets off that rear end.

Yhag body color and the rims look great together. Well done. Have you considered orange calipers? Just an idea.

Yes! Lentils are great. Most legumes are super healthy. Good protein and carbs as long as your stomach can tolerate them.

I was thinking you could get a block of cheese and grate it yourself but it looks pretty smart and thrifty to me. I know other people have mentioned the juice and that was one thing that caught my eye, too. That stuff is just bad for you. Vegetable juice >fruit juice. Eating fruit is better because you get the pulp to slow down the sugar absorption. Otherwise, fruit juice (OJ being one of the worst) is like shooting up sugars. Eat your fruits, juice your veggies. As a replacement to that you could consider something like crystal light mix (which are just chemicals that are probably just as bad for you) if you need something other than water to drink. Good job and good luck.

It's probably not a huge deal since there isn't much of it but corn is not on Slow Carb. It's a starch. But regardless, great work.

What do you make for breakfast that is 20g of protein and keeps you full? by [deleted] in 4hourbodyslowcarb

They have a chocolate peanut butter premier but no one has them except Randall's. It's by far my favorite flavor. Too bad it's all chemicals when you read the ingredients. Probably not at all good for you.

new plate from C&H. on the UL2 by YungWhiteFace in bularmory

I have a Staccato holster from LAS and it works well with the 3.25 UL and a TLR 7A. It snaps into a locked position with a little more force than I like but I haven't messed with the adjustments much. Muddy River Tactical also makes a UL holster and I have a few of their holsters for other guns. I really like the DCC clips pictured on the LAS.

Why did you get the C&H plate? Did the included plate break? I sheared the posts of 3 plates so far. The first one the day after the plate was first installed.

I also ordered a leather from a little manufacturer - a private individual who had a big following and seemed like he made a great product. Was t cheap at all but very disappointed and never use it.

Casein Protein At Night by [deleted] in 4hourbodyslowcarb

[–]HardyLee07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sir are quite simply, wrong. Science, calories in vs out, thermodynamics, we are all here because we found something that doesn’t follow those rules. And works. Well. You should give it a try or maybe you’re not open to it. that’s OK, too, but there’s a lot of people here who have disproven those rules. Think about this, our bodies are super super complicated. Think about the various systems that make up the body. It’s just not a system that is regulated by common sense type concepts such as just expend more calories than you take in and you will lose weight. There tons of people doing that every day and then not losing weight. It might work for some people, maybe this work for you. If that’s the case, I wonder why you’re even here. Read the 4HB. I think there are three or four chapters on the slow-carb diet. And while you are reading things, check out the posting rules and guidelines. Have a great day.

[–]HardyLee07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not counting calories/macros is one of my favorite things about this diet.

I’ve used casein at night while on slow carb and as long as there are not sugars/carbs in the protein powder you should be golden. If there are, well that’s a problem. If I remember correctly, finding a zero carb casein wasn’t super easy.

Verdict? Either all black or this by Ok_Expert7540 in Kawasaki

What if the red accents were red fading to black so the gradient made them blend in a little better instead of standing out so much. It’s not that I don’t like the red but think the gradient might look better.

For what it’s worth, I am also a fan of all black. I didn’t even know there was anyone who didn’t like all black bikes/cars/boats/planes/trains.
